We get single rooms for all 4 years so no problem in sharing room.

Placements: The majority of MSc. students went into teaching. However, a number of companies also recruit on campus. These companies include GAIL, CDAC, TRAI, REC, Goldman Sachs, GE India, Amazon, Honeywell, Tata Steel, Jaguar Land Rover, Adobe, Vedanta, GAIL, CDAC, TRAI, and REC. The highest weekly CTC was Rs. 49 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel provides single occupancy, which means that each room is occupied by only one person. Each room has one bed, one chair, one table, one fan, one tubelight, three sockets, and a balcony with a great view. The hostel is provided along with admission to any course, and the mess food is good most of the time.

Faculty: It took two years, or four quarters, to finish the entire course. Electives were offered beginning in the third semester. The course content was both engaging and exhausting. With the support of lecturers and mentors, I was able to master differential analysis over time. The class size was restricted to a minimum of 40-50 students, which improved the experience in the class. For our practice, we were also given weekly homework. The course fee was INR 35,000 per year.

The college is in a serene location with a lot of greenery and mountains.

Placements: The eligibility criteria make students eligible for campus placements after the 7th to 10th semester. Companies that visit for core campus placements include Tata, Amazon, Birla, Zomato, and many more. The percentage of students getting placed is low, around twenty percent. My plan after completing my B.Tech is to pursue an M.Tech.

Infrastructure: There are three annual fests: Alma Fiesta, the socio-cultural fest; Wissenaire, the tech fest; and the Entrepreneurship Fest. These take place in March each year, with students from all colleges in Bhubaneswar attending. Each fest includes a DJ night featuring popular artists.

Faculty: Almost all the faculty members I’ve learned from are highly talented, ensuring every student participates in the lectures. The PDP lectures are also excellent and very helpful for building confidence.

One of the best IIT of India.

Placements: Most MSc. participants became educators. This is where companies like Vedanta, Amazon, Honeywell, Tata Steel, Jaguar Land Rover, Adobe, GE India, GAIL, CDAC, TRAI, REC, Goldman Sachs and Amazon hire employees. Being a part of an IIT posting week is a goal all IITians share. Renowned international businesses and domestic companies recruit on campus. The highest package was 49 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure amenities are steadily getting better. There are currently two Nescafes: a commercial center, an auditorium, lecture hall complexes, a student activity center, basketball, volleyball, soccer, cricket, lawn tennis, badminton, and a table tennis play area. The worst food is the mess, and the hostel staff is quite obstinate. There aren't plenty of choices for eating on campus.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and supportive. Teaching quality is also good; this course is curriculum-relevant and makes students industry-ready. The difficulty of semester exams is high, but the passing percentage is also high. Teaching quality is also one of the best in this college.

Placements: The majority of M.Sc. members went into teaching. Every IITian's ambition is to be a part of an IIT's posting week. Top worldwide and domestic MNCs and businesses recruit on campus. The highest weekly CTC was Rs. 49 LPA.

Infrastructure: It is compulsory for all students to reside within the IIT campus. The rooms are single accommodations, and for students opting for post-graduation, there are Sangam hostels where they can stay with their spouse. The hostel charges are minimal, and the Mess charges are 18,000 rupees for each semester. The room has a fan, a table, a chair, and a bed with a small balcony and small windows. The room also has a cupboard with enough storage. Hostel Fee: INR 30,000 per year.

Placements: In the fourth year of the M.Sc. program, we have the opportunity to secure a job through campus placement. Various reputable companies, such as Bharat Petroleum, Barne, Publicizes Sapient, Range Rover, and HPCL, visit our campus for recruitment. The highest package offered in our college reaches 60 lacs per annum, while the average package stands at 16 lacs. Approximately 70–80% of students typically find placement opportunities with the college. Personally, my aim upon obtaining my degree is to secure a position in a well-established company through campus placement, and in the future, I aspire to embark on entrepreneurial ventures.

Infrastructure: Currently, the hostel fee stands at 18000 rupees. Each student is provided with a single room furnished with essential items such as a study table, chair, B.Ed. mattress, and pillow. However, additional items like bedding need to be purchased independently, although they are also available for purchase within the institute. The quality of food provided is mediocre, with limited options available on campus for alternative dining.

Faculty: The faculty members at our institute are highly qualified and supportive, fostering a positive academic atmosphere. They encourage students to engage in research activities, particularly in technical fields, for those inclined towards deeper exploration. The curriculum is oriented towards research-oriented learning and also prepares students well for careers in industries. While exams may be challenging, diligent attendance and focused study habits typically lead to good academic performance.

It is one of the best campuses with awesome faculty members.

Placements: Nearly 50-60% of students got direct placements in companies and different coaching institutes all over India. They got a package of nearly 5 to 6 LPA on average. Top recruiting companies are Tata Consultancy Services, FIITJEE, Allen, Akash, Fiziks etc. They mainly got the role of tutors and scientists in companies.

Infrastructure: This IIT has probably one of the best hostel facilities. The hostel is clean with Wi-Fi, gym, lift, single rooms, and many more facilities. As for the infrastructure, it is one of the best new-generation IITs. It has a well-developed lab for Physics. It also has a decent library and a well-maintained study room.

Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified, research-oriented, and student-friendly. Physics, being a basic science subject, doesn't provide very good exposure to the industry, but this IIT provides a good scope for research. The exams are standard and moderate. Generally, 100% of students pass the exams here.

Other: The institute hosts annually 5-10 fests. The campus environment is good. A scholarship of Rs. 1,000 per month is provided for M.Sc. in basic sciences. There is a good scope for playing basketball, football, cricket, and a gym is available.
