Golden Girl Scheme: Direct admission for female candidates who are First Rank Holders (Gold Medallists) in their qualifying degree from an IIT and/or an Institute/University within the Top 50 ranks (overall category) in the most recent NIRF. This scheme exempts the requirement of qualifying an All India Level Exam. IIT graduates with a BS degree who have qualified JEE (Advanced) and secured a CGPA > 8 are also exempted from the GATE requirement. Additionally, candidates with AMIE/AMIS/AMIIChE/ AMIIM/ Grad IETE, possessing a B.Sc. or Diploma in engineering and having at least three years of research, teaching, or other professional experience in a relevant field at the time of application, are eligible to apply.
