Yes, IIT Roorkee offers an MBA programme under the department of Management. The eligibility criteria to get admission to IIT Roorkee MBA course are mentioned below:
Eligibility Criteria: Passed a graduation degree/ professional qualification in any stream from a UGC-recognised university with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates). Final year students* are also eligible to apply.

No, to get admission at IIT Roorkee for the MBA/PGDM course, students have to first attempt the CAT entrance examination and attain a valid percentile. Those students who clear the cutoff are then eligible to move to the second round of admission, which involves PI (Personal Interview).

The tuition fee waiver / concession in IITs and NITs are as follows:

For GEN and OBC students having annual family income less than Rs. 1 Lacs and all SC, ST & PwD students: 100% tuition fee waiver. Only fee in other heads like exam fee, hostel and mess fee, gymkhana fee, etc., need to be paid.

For GEN and OBC students having annual family income between Rs. 1 Lacs and Rs. 5 lakh: 2/3rd waiver in tuition fee. Only 33.33% of tuition fee need to be paid.

For GEN and OBC students having annual family income above Rs. 5 Lacs or those students who are not desirous of obtaining fee waiver or have not submitted income certificate: Full tuition fee need to be paid.

The library was established in 1848. The library is spread across an 85,000 sq. ft. area. It is a four-storeyed building. IIT Roorkee library has a rich collection of more than 3,20,000 documents, CD-ROMs, Online databases, audio-video material, standards, specifications, theses, reports etc. It also has access to more than 8000 electronic journals.

If a student wants to join the IIT Roorkee BTech or BSc programme, then appearing for JEE Advanced is mandatory. Students have to clear the JEE Advanced cutoff and participate in counselling to get a seat. However, for any non-BTech/ BSc programme, JEE Advanced is not required. Students may submit alternate exams instead.

IIT Roorkee accepts IIT JAM scores for admission to the MSc course. Analysing the IIT JAM cutoff, MSc in Economics was turned out to be the most competitive specialisations when compared it with the other four specialisations. For Mathematics, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks were 247 and 272, respectively for the Economically Weaker Section category candidates for the All India Quota. No, students can not get admission in IIT Roorkee MSc with GATE scores. The institute accepts IIT JAM score only. No other tests including GATE are accepted. Students also have to appear for the centralised counselling to get a seat.

No, it is not easy to get admission in IIT Roorkee. Students have to get high scores in accepted tests. The competition is also very high for all programmes, but especially for BTech. With IIT Roorkee being one of the top Engineering institutes of the country, the cutoff is high too. To get admission in the institute, studets have to work extra hard and crack the exams.

Presently, IIT Roorkee offers more than 65 UG, PG and doctoral degree courses.  It awards the degree of BTech, MTech, MSc, BArch, MBA, MSc, PhD along with a couple of integrated and dual degree courses in the fields of Engineering, Science, Architecture, Management and Social Sciences.
