NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. Candidates can check JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 and 2 on this page.  JEE Main 2024 application form session 1 was available from November 1 to December 4. For session 2, NTA released application form on February 2.

Students can easily crack JEE Main exam if they make a study plan and follow a strategy. The first step to clear JEE Main 2026 is to understand the JEE syllabus and exam pattern clearly. Check which topics are asked in the exam and what are the types of questions. Identify the JEE Main topics that are similar to class 11 and 12 and start studying them along with the school classes. The second advice is to make a time table for your study. Ideally, 6-8 hours of study is sufficient for JEE Main. Students should choose a time which suits them best. They can study in night or morning or both. It is important that they give at least 3 hours daily specifically for JEE Main preparation. Selecting the right study materials/books is also very important for JEE Main preparation. It is advised that students begin their preparation by studying the NCERT books thoroughly and then advance to additional books. The most important advice in clearing the JEE Main is not to over-burden yourself with the preparation. 

Starting the JEE Main preparation from class 11 or 12 is the best time. As JEE Main syllabus consists of topics from class 11 and 12, students can easily cover all the topics along with school. Students can begin by checking the topics that is covered in both school and JEE Main and give special attention to them. For all three subjects, study NCERT and also take help from reference books. Understand the concepts thoroughly and solve numerical problems. To crack JEE Main along with class 12, students should devote at least 2-3 hours for JEE beside class 12 studies. Regularly solve JEE Main mock test and solve previous year question papers to evaluate the performance.

Given below are the eligibility criteria for admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Una:

• The candidate must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with a minimum of 75% aggregate.
• Also, candidates must have valid JEE-Main ranks based on which they can apply for the common counselling process through JoSAA and CSAB.
• Lastly, selected candidates will have to report to the admission cell at IIIT Una for document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.

There is no such provision for direct admission in any of the programme offered at IIIT Una including the BTech programme. Candidates willing to take admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Una must fulfil the following requirements:

• The candidate must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with a minimum of 75% aggregate.
• Also, candidates must have valid JEE-Main ranks based on which they can apply for the common counselling process through JoSAA and CSAB.
• Selected candidates will have to report to the admission cell at IIIT Una for document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.
