Placements: For mechanical, the placement percentage stands in top 2 in NIT Raipur with 98%. The average salary is 9 LPA. NIT Raipur mainly concentrates on number of placed in placements. Companies such as Hyundai, Tata, Steel Plants, etc., come to the placements.

Infrastructure: There are enough labs and classrooms. Infrastructure is not upto the mark as it was built many years ago. It should improve in terms of infrastructure. With better infrastructure, the ranking goes very high. Hostel is the main drawback as there are not enough hostels provided. Hostels are provided only to some people based on CGPA.

Faculty: Faculty members and curriculum are okay. All the main faculty members are very good regarding their knowledge and their teaching skills. Curriculum is very relevant from 2nd year. But for first-year students, the curriculum is totally irrelevant and only few focus on the course they choose.

Other: Infrastructure should be improved. There are also few events like Eclectika which is the cultural fest of NIT Raipur and it goes well.

Good placements but bad infrastructure.

Placements: This college is mostly known for its placements, and 90% are placed in mechanical engineering this year. Though the packages offered are not very high, most students are getting placed. On-campus placements would show low packages, but off-campus offers higher packages than these.

Infrastructure: As this is one of the oldest NIT colleges, this might not have the infrastructure expected before joining the college. Hostels are not provided for everyone from the 2nd year. But in the first year, every other state student will be provided a hostel.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are very qualified and experienced. But as we know, college is all about learning by oneself, and the professors won't be much help. The difficulty range is of average level, not as high as a few IIT colleges, but they are focusing on the verbal skills of the students.

Other: It is a small campus, but a new campus will be shifting to Naya Raipur. Fests are not very much anticipated, but those that are arranged will be done in a very grand way. Scholarships of different types are always provided.

Really good placements, hostel facilities are disappointing.

Placements: 85 percent of students are placed in our college, and some other students go for higher studies. Placements are really good for all the branches in the college. The highest package for Mechanical is 20 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Tata and Bhilai Steel Plant are the top recruiting companies, and many other companies are also present. All students get a chance to do an internship.

Infrastructure: There is a bit of a problem with the hostels. There are only 2 hostels for girls, and hostel accommodation is provided based on merit and distance from your hometown. The Wi-Fi is good in the hostel, and the classrooms are fairly okay. The library has a wide range of books for all branches.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and good. Sometimes it's difficult to understand the teachers, but you should prepare for exams from the start. The exams are neither too tough nor too easy. The pass percentage is relatively good, and it is completely based on the CBCS scheme.

Other: In the beginning, I was disappointed to join Mechanical , but later I changed my opinion due to the college atmosphere. You can find good friends and enjoy with them. Events and fests are quite common, and you can enjoy the events. It’s better if you learn skills from teachers irrespective of your course.

Best institute for engineering.

Placements: Placements are good. Last year, almost 90% of students got their placement offers. The highest salary package offered is 62 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 13 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, GE Healthcare, ZS Associate, Vedanta, Jindal Steel, Tata Steel, Caterpillar, BPCL, etc.

Infrastructure: It was initially a state engineering college, which was converted into NIT later. The infrastructure is not very good. The entire campus has Wi-Fi connectivity including classrooms, labs, and a library. The hostel is not sufficient, and it is allotted on the basis of student's academic performance. The food quality provided by the mess is average.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and well-behaved. All faculty members have Ph.D. in their respective fields. They are very supportive. Most of the courses are industry-relevant, but they need some improvement on it. Semester exams in the college are very easy, and almost 50% of questions are repeated from the past year. Almost all students pass exams.

Other: I chose this course because it has the broadest fields in engineering, offering opportunities in automobile, manufacturing, aerospace, energy, etc. There are a lot of clubs and committees. A few of them are Sanskriti which organizes a cultural fest, Technocracy organizes a technical fest, and Shaurya organizes a sports fest in the college.

The college is best as per placement aspect, and you get a NIT tag too.

Placements: Around 80% of mechanical branches get placed every year from NITRR. The highest package was 19.48 LPA; the lowest package this year was 5 LPA, and the average package was 9.93 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Vedanta, Adobe, Tata, BPCL, Tata Steel, and many more.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are non-AC, so it's quite difficult to manage because of the heat. Apart from this, the college is very good; it has every facility like a library, wi-fi, labs that are very advanced, the library has enough books, and the Central Computer Center building is fully air conditioned.

Faculty: The teachers and professors for 1st year are highly qualified, but they lack teaching skills. One teacher even doesn't know the basic spellings. None of the professors are good at teaching. The lab professors are interactive and very good at teaching skills. The syllabus and curriculum are somehow backward; they have not advanced a lot yet.

Other: I choose the mechanical branch as it is one of the core branches, and as it is done from NIT, the value of this course is increased 10 times with respect to normal private colleges. One field of improvement is the professors of 1st year; they should be changed. The campus life, clubs, fests, extracurricular activities—everything is cool. You can enjoy your life and explore many things in this college.

Final inspection of the biennial Joint Help Wing of the State Defence Academy Senior Secondary School inspection conducted by the National Institute of Unsealed Schools with a minimum of 5 subjects. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) recognized each Community School, Board, or institution in the Republic of India or any external State as equivalent to the higher secondary Certificate Vocational Qualification. A Diploma recognised by AICTE or a Certificate issued by a Technical Education Board of less than 3 years in duration. General Certificate of Education (GCE) study in London, Cambridge, Sri Lanka with a view to obtaining an advanced degree. A secondary school certificate review at a Cambridge institution or an international Baccalaureate Diploma at a Transnational Baccalaureate Office in Geneva.
