The NLET Exam Date has not been announced yet. To appear in NEF Law Entrance Exam, it is important to have good preparation. Check the exam pattern to get details about the structure including the subjects, sectional weightage, type of questions and other details. 

Q:   What is NEF Law Entrance Test 2026 Exam Pattern?

Understanding the exam pattern of NLET 2026 is the most crucial part of preparation. Check the exam pattern of NEF LET 2026 as mentioned below:

  • Exam mode - Pen-paper based test mode
  • Exam duration - 2 hours 30 minutes
  • Test language - English only
  • Type of questions - Objective type as well as the subjective type of questions
  • Total questions - 182 questions
  • Total marks - 200 marks
Q:   What is NLET 2026 Marking Scheme?
A: 

Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer of Question number 1 to 180. Whereas, question number 181 and 182 carry 10 marks each. There is no negative marking scheme for wrong attempts in case of objective-type of questions. Moreover, no marks will be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted by the candidates. The negative marking scheme for long answers type question is not clear. Therefore, only correct answers will be taken into consideration for final score calculation.
