N-LET Application Form 2026- The NEF Law College (NLC) is expected to start the NEF Law Entrance Exam Application Process 2026 anytime soon. Candidates must note that the application process of the NLET Exam is both online and offline. Candidates have to submit the NEF Law Exam Application Form before the last date of application. N-LET 2026 Application Dates will be released with the official notification.

It must be noted that you have to fill separate forms for the five-year integrated LLB course, three-year LLB, and LLM courses. Unlike other exams, a single form will not be considered if you are appearing for one or more courses. Before filling the NEF Law Application Form, candidates must go through the NLET 2026 Eligibility Criteria given below, along with the procedure for filling the application form.

How to fill NLET 2026 Application Form?

The NEF Law Application Form 2026 will be available soon. You can fill the NLET form either online or offline, depending on what suits you best. Students who wish to appear for the NEF Law Entrance Exam 2026 can apply by following the steps given below.

  • Go to the online portal of NEF Law College, Guwahati, nefcollege.org.
  • Click on the "Apply Online" button on the homepage.
  • Select the "NEF Law College, Guwahati".
  • Click on Register.
  • Enter details such as personal info, education qualification, age, etc and attach the required scanned copy of the documents.
  • Verify the mobile number
  • Pay the application fee.
  • Submit the NLET 2026 application form.

Candidates need to submit the details and download the filled-in application form. Get it printed out on an A4 size sheet (keep extra copies for future references). Candidates need to send the application form with a Demand Draft for the application fee INR 500. The DD should be drawn in favour of 'NEF Law College' and payable at Guwahati. The candidates should enclose both DD and the downloaded application form together and send it to the official address of the law college.

  • A working email ID and mobile number.
  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets.

NEF Law Entrance Test Eligibility Criteria 2026

To be eligible to apply for the law courses (5-Year LLB, 3-Year LLB, and LLM) offered by NEF Law College, Guwahati, candidates have to meet the given eligibility conditions. Before filling out the NLET 2026 application form, candidates will have to fulfill the NEF law exam 2026 eligibility criteria as provided below:

Course level Eligibility Criteria
Five-year integrated LLB course
  • Candidates should have passed Class 12th or equivalent from any state board or national board of education.
  • They should have obtained at least 45% marks if belonging to the general category, 42% marks if belonging to the OBC category, and 40% marks if belonging to the SC/ ST category.
  • The candidates appearing in the Class 12th examination in the admission year are also eligible to apply for the NLET exam (they should qualify for the exam and submit the proof at the time of final admission).
  • The age limit criteria for general category candidates is not more than 20 year and for SC/ ST category candidates, it is up to 22 years of age. 
Three-Year LLB
  • Candidates should have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognised institute/ university. 
  • They should have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate, 42% marks for the OBC category, and 40% marks if belonging to the SC/ ST category.
  • There is no age limit for admission to this course.
LLM course
  • Candidates should have an LLB degree or a five-year integrated LLB degree from a BCI-recognised law institute/ university. 
  • They should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks if belonging to the SC/ ST category.
  • There is no age limit for admission to this course.

What Documents are Required to fill NLET Application Form 2026?

 

Before you apply for the NLET 2026 exam, make sure you already have all the important papers ready. Below is a simple list of documents required for NEF Law Entrance Test 2026 application form.

  • You will need your Class 10th and 12th marksheet and certificate. Keep them scanned and clear.
  • A passport-size photo with a white background is needed too. The file must be less than 1 MB and only in .jpg or .jpeg format.
  • You also have to upload your scanned signature, same format, and not more than 1 MB in size.
  • If you are from the BPL category, then your BPL certificate is required. The file size should not cross 2 MB.
  • For those who are Foreign Nationals (FN), a passport copy must be uploaded. It should be under 2 MB.
  • If you are applying for LLM, then your graduation marksheet and certificate are needed, if you already have them.
  • A character certificate is also compulsory. It must be recent, not older than 3 months.
  • You will also need a transfer certificate from your last school or college.
  • Students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, or J&K categories must upload their relevant category certificate.
  • Keep all these documents ready before you start filling the NLET 2026 application form to avoid any delay or mistakes.
