TG LAWCET Dates 2026: The TS LAWCET 2026 Exam is scheduled on May 18, 2026. Candidates must note that the TS LAWCET exam for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB will be conducted on the same date. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education started the TG LAWCET 2026 Registrations from February 10, 2026, on the website, lawcet.tgche.ac.in. Candidates who want to apply have to register before April 1, 2026.
The council releases a notification stating all the important dates related to TG LAWCET 2026, which includes the TS LAWCET application start date, last date of application, admit card release date, and other important information regarding the exam. The TS LAWCET scores will be accepted by the participating institutes that offer admission to the five-year LLB course and three-year LLB course. The TS LAWCET counselling schedule will be released through the official TSCHE Portal - lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in. TS LAWCET counselling is the procedure by which qualifying students are admitted to various law programmes offered by Telangana universities and colleges based on their ranking and college preferences.
To be eligible for TS LAWCET counselling, candidates belonging to the General category must have secured 35% marks in TS LAWCET exam (i.e. 42 marks out of 120 marks). The OBC category students must score atleast 35% marks in TS LAWCET exam (i.e. 42 marks out of 120 marks), and for the SC/ST category, there is no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST category candidates. However, for the 3-year LL.B. course, any graduate degree candidate with (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognised University or its equivalent can apply and for the 5-year LL.B. course, two year Intermediate Examination with (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent is acceptable.
