The Telangana State Council of Higher Education has released the TS LAWCET 2026 exam date on the website, lawcet.tgche.ac.in. The TSLAWCET exam is scheduled on May 18, 2026. The candidates who wish to appear for the entrance exam must check the important dates here.

The TS LAWCET Registrations is expected to begin in March. The TS LAWCET scores will be accepted by the participating institutes that offer admission to the five-year LLB course and three-year LLB course. Read through the page below for all the important dates related to the TG LAWCET Exam 2026 and other important events.

Note: For admission to the LLM program at colleges recognised by TGCHE, TS PGLCET is conducted.

Q:   When will the TS LAWCET 2026 admit card be released?
A: 

TS LAWCET admit card 2026 will be released on the website of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE): lawcet.tgche.ac.in. The admit card will be released in online mode only as TS LAWCET hall ticket tentatively 7-10 days before the exam. Candidates will have to download the admit card before the TS LAWCET 2026 exam and take its multiple printouts. They need to affix their coloured passport-size photograph to their TS LAWCET hall ticket or admit card. 

Q:   When TS LAWCET 2026 result be released?
A: 

The TS LAWCET 2026 result will be announced within four weeks of the exam conclusion. The link to check the TS LAWCET scorecard will be activated on the website of TGCHE. In the scorecard, you can check the name of the candidate, roll number, scores, exam details, qualifying status, category of the candidate, application number, etc.

Q:   What is the last date to fill out the TS LAWCET 2026 registration?
A: 

TGCHE will release the application dates soon on the official website for admission to the 5-year LLB course and the 3-year LLB courses. Candidates will be able to fill the registration form on the TGCHE official website, at lawcet.tsche.ac.in. After the TS LAWCET 2026 registration process is over, candidates will be given chances to register for the entrance exam with the late fee.

The TGCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education) has released the TS LAWCET 2026 Exam Date Notification. In the notification, TSCHE has mentioned the dates of the TG Common Entrance Tests. TG LAWCET Application dates are yet to be announced.

The application form can be filled in online only. You must note that there is no way to apply for TS LAWCET through any other way. The portal to apply is lawcet.tgche.ac.in.

The TS LAWCET 2026 Registrations will begin after the release of the notification. Candidates have to fill out the TSLAWCET Exam Application Form before the last date. Later, candidates will also be provided with the application correction facility.

Q:   Is TSLAWCET 2026 application window extended?
A: 

TS LAWCET 2026 application window will be extended by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Hyderabad in case the need arises. The exam authority will release the TS LAWCET 2026 (TG LAWCET 2026) applications tentatively in March 2026. Candidates will also be given chance to fill the TGLAWCET and TGPGLCET Application Form 2026 without a late fee

Q:   When will TG LAWCET 2026 registration start?
A: 

The TG LAWCET 2026 registration is likely to begin in March 2026, on the official TG LAWCET portal, lawcet.tsche.ac.in. The registration for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB through TG PGLCET 2026 will begin on the same date. The registration cum application form for TG LAWCET 2026 is only be made available online. Candidates need to note that the TS LAWCET 2026 exam date for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses will also be the same. The exam will be conducted online at test centres allotted to candidates.

  • Online Registration- Candidates who qualify for the exam will have to register online and pay the counselling registration fee to participate in the counselling.
  • List of Verified Candidates- The admission cell releases the list of candidates whose documents are verified and who are eligible to participate in the counselling. 
  • Exercising Web Option Entry- Candidates whose get their names appear in the list will then have to record their choice of colleges for admission.
  • Seat Allotment List- The candidates will then have to check the seat allotment list. This has the names of candidates and their allocated college as per the preferences.

Q:   When will TS LAWCET 2026 counselling start?
A: 

The TS LAWCET counselling schedule will be released through the official TSCHE Portal - lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in. TS LAWCET counselling is the procedure by which qualifying students are admitted to various law programmes offered by Telangana universities and colleges based on their ranking and college preferences. 

Q:   Who is eligible for TS LAWCET counselling?
A: 

To be eligible for TS LAWCET counselling, candidates belonging to the General category must have secured 35% marks in TS LAWCET exam (i.e. 42 marks out of 120 marks). The OBC category students must score atleast 35% marks in TS LAWCET exam (i.e. 42 marks out of 120 marks), and for the SC/ST category, there is no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST category candidates. However, for the 3-year LL.B. course, any graduate degree candidate with (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognised University or its equivalent can apply and for the 5-year LL.B. course, two year Intermediate Examination with (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent is acceptable.

Q:   Where can I find the TS LAWCET cutoff marks?
A: 

The official TS LAWCET cutoff marks will not be available on a single webpage.  This is because the cutoffs are determined for each counselling round and for each participating college and course. Thus, each college participating in TS LAWCET will release the cutoff marks on its official webiste.

However, you can find the TS LAWCET cutoff marks on the official website of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) after they declare the results  at lawcet.tsche.ac.in. The cutoffs are generally released separately for each round of counselling.

Q:   What is the timing of TS LAWCET 2026 exam?
A: 

The TS LAWCET 2026 exam will be held on May 18, 2026. Candidates can find the exam timing for TS LAWCET 2026 on their admit card. Every year, the TS LAWCET exam is conducted in multiple sessions. Thus, TS LAWCET 2026 will also be conducted in sessions on the exam date decided by the Telangana State Higher Education Council (TGCHE).

Q:   What is the difference between the TS LAWCET preliminary answer key and the TS LAWCET final answer key?
A: 

The TS LAWCET preliminary key is a set of answers that give answers to the questions in the TS LAWCET question paper for a particular. The preliminary answer key is based on the initial evaluation of the question paper by the exam authority. The preliminary answer key can be challenged by candidates if they think that the answer to a particular question is wrong.

Whereas, the TS LAWCET final answer key is the authoritative set of answers released by the exam authority, Osmania University, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), for the TS LAWCET exam. It represents the final decisions on the correct answers for all the questions that appeared on the test.
