Overview

KEAM 2026 Preparation: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) conducts the KEAM entrance exam for admission to BTech and BPharm courses. The KEAM entrance exam is a state-level exam with around 1 lakh candidates appearing for the exam each year. KEAM 2026 exam preparation thus requires dedication and strategy. The BTech aspirants have to appear for all three subjects, whereas the BPharm aspirants have to appear for Physics and Chemistry papers.

No. KEAM cut-off marks are published in the form of last rank round-wise and category-wise. KEAM cutoff is available on the official website after each round of KEAM seat allotment. Candidates who obtain a score equal to the exam KEAM cut-offs will be allowed to participate in the KEAM counselling process. The KEAM cutoff list comprises the closing ranks of various participating colleges after each round of counselling. Candidates with ranks below the set KEAM cut-off will not be considered for admission.

Q:   Is the KEAM exam difficult?
A: 

The KEAM exam is generally considered to be of moderate difficulty, making it easier than JEE Main. Chemistry is easy, Physics and Mathematics are moderate to tough.

Q:   Are rough sheets provided at KEAM exam centre?
A: 

Yes. You will get additional paper for rough in the KEAM examination hall. You must write your Roll Number and Name at the top of the paper and put your signature. This sheet should be returned to the Invigilator at the end of the exam.

Q:   How many questions will be there in KEAM?
A: 

The KEAM 2026 engineering paper will have a total of 150 questions. Mathematics will have 75 questions, Physics will have 45 questions, and Chemistry will have 30 questions to be answered in 180 minutes. For KEAM 2026 BPharm ONLY candidates, the Entrance Examination will have a total of 75 questions; 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry to be answered in 90 minutes.

KEAM Mock Test 2026

 CEE releases the KEAM mock test 2026 under the logins of the candidates at cee.kerala.gov.in. To access the KEAM mock test 2026, candidates have to log in with their KEAM application number and password at cee.kerala.gov.in via the KEAM 2026 candidate portal. Once logged in, they should proceed to the practice test menu to commence their practice session.

 The mock test of  KEAM 2026 consists of questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to be completed within the given timeline.

Since KEAM is computer-based, the students can attempt the mock test to increase their efficiency in answering the maximum number of questions in the exam. KEAM mock tests will also help them to know the KEAM exam pattern 2026 well and practice for the actual test. By attempting the mock test within the allotted duration, the students can also improve their time management skills.

The candidates who do not score the minimum stipulated marks will not find a place in the rank list. Exemption: For SC/ST candidates there is no requirement of minimum marks in the Engineering Entrance Examination. However, the candidates who fail to answer at least one question in each paper will be disqualified. Also for the B.Pharma rank list, a candidate has to get a minimum of 10 marks out of the index of 480 calculated. The candidates who do not get the minimum stipulated index mark will not find a place in the rank list. Exemption: For SC/ST candidates there is no requirement of a minimum index mark for ranking for the B.Pharma course.
