How is AP LAWCET 2026 Cutoff determined?
The AP LAWCET 2026 cutoff will be decided by looking at few main things that affect admission chances. It shows the least marks you must score to get a seat in the law college you want.
- Number of Applicants: When more students apply, the cutoff mostly goes higher.
- Exam Difficulty: If the paper is hard, cutoff can go little lower.
- Seats Available: Colleges with less seats usually have high cutoff marks.
- Candidate Category: Cutoff changes for General, SC, ST, OBC, and other groups.
- Overall Performance: If many students score well, cutoff becomes high.
- Previous Year Trends: Old year cutoffs help to guess the safe score for this year.
The final AP LAWCET 2026 cutoff will come out after results and counselling. Every law college in Andhra Pradesh will have its own cutoff list.

What Do AP LAWCET Qualifying Marks Mean?

AP LAWCET Cut Offs 2024 (Previous Year Cut-off)
The AP LAWCET 2024 cut-off was a category-specific and indicated the minimum marks one needs to secure in the AP LAWCET exam in their respective categories for admission to a participating institute. The cutoff is not fixed, but may vary depending on a host of factors like - seat intake, merit ranks of applicants, category, and also the popularity of the law college.
In 2024, the difficulty level of the AP LAWCET 2024 3-year LLB exam was moderate to difficulty. Thus, the expected AP LAWCET 2024 3-year LLB cut offs for top law colleges were between 450 to 700. However, the 5-year LLB entrance exam was moderately difficult. Therefore, the cut offs for top colleges accepting the AP LAWCET 2024 5-year LLB scores were between 290 and 550. Note that the admission cutoff was not the same as the AP LAWCET 2024 qualifying cutoff, which is the minimum criteria for sitting in the counselling process.
