The NTA will release the CUET Mock Test Paper 2027 on its official portal. The CUET mock test is released every year so that the candidates can see and understand the look and feel of the exam. It provides a practice session for candidates so that they can practice marking answers on screen and time management for the paper.

How to Appear for CUET Mock Test 2027?

The candidates can appear for the CUET UG mock test on their computer. The link is released by the NTA at nta.ac.in, and the candidates can appear in the mock test just by clicking on that link.

How to Attempt CUET UG Mock Test Online?

Follow the steps below to access the NTA CUET mock test :

  • Visit nta.ac.in/Quiz
  • Select 'CUET (UG)' exam from the dropdown menu
  • Choose the subject/paper to attempt
  • Click on the Login button
  • Click on Proceed to start the CUET mock test

Candidates can also download the CUET previous year question papers to practice. NTA has released the CUET PYQ PDFs for 23 domain subjects, 13 languages and general test.

CUET UG language section will now consist of 13 languages instead of 33 languages. The 13 languages of CUET UG are: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Whereas the languages that have been deleted are: Arabic, Bodo, Chinese, Dogri, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Nepali, Persian, Russian, Santhali, Sindhi, Spanish, Tibetan, Sanskrit.

What is CUET Mock Test Structure?

The CUET UG mock test is similar to the actual exam pattern. It helps students understand how the real test will be conducted in computer-based mode (CBT). The mock test is divided into the same sections as the prescribed exam pattern:

  • Language: Includes reading comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar-based questions
  • Domain Subjects: Subject-specific questions based on the Class 12 NCERT syllabus
  • General Aptitude Test: Covers logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general knowledge, and current affairs

Each CUET UG mock test paper will have:

  • Multiple choice questions
  • Exam subject will have 50 questions (all compulsory)
  • Each subject will be of 60 minute duration
  • Standard marking for all subjects (correct answer +5, negative marking (-1) for wrong answers)
  • On-screen tools like a timer, a question palette, and a panel to experience the real CBT environment

Q:   What is the difficulty level of the CUET exam?

The difficulty level of the CUET exam varies between moderate and tough. Since the CUET UG exam is held for multiple subjects and slots, the difficulty level of the exam varies from subject to subject. Sometimes, the difficulty level may also vary for different slots. While for the well-prepared candidates, the difficulty level will be low, for the underprepared students, the level of difficulty will be on the higher side.  

Q:   What is the CUET marking scheme?
A: 

NTA prescribes the CUET UG marking scheme. Check below to know the CUET UG marking scheme:

  • Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Five marks (+5)
  • Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
  • Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
  • If more than one option is found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
  • If all options are found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
  • If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped, then all candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be given five marks (+5) marks.

CUET UG 2026 question paper will include four answer options for each question. Candidates must read the questions carefully and mark any one of the options which is correct. Candidates will get negative marking for every wrong answer. Hence, candidates must attempt questions carefully  to avoid any negative marking.

Common University Entrance Test syllabus for Delhi University consists of three sections- Language, Domain subjects and General Aptitude Test. The syllabus for CUET domain subjects is entirely based on NCERT curriculum. Candidates can check the subject-wise CUET UG syllabus at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA has prescribed syllabus for 37 subjects. Admission to Delhi University through CUET requires appearing in subjects passed in class 12th.

CUET UG total marks is 250 Marks for each subject. Candidates can choose up to five CUET subjects. Each subject paper has 50 questions which will total to 250 marks for each subject. For every correct answer, candidate will get 5 marks. The CUET total marks will be uniform for all 37 subjects. The Total CUET subjects marks can vary depending on the number of subjects chosen by candidates.

  • If three CUET subjects chosen: 750 total marks
  • If four CUET subjects chosen: 1000 total marks
  • If five CUET subjects chosen: 1250 total marks

The CUET questions are objective in nature and carries four options also known as MCQs. Candidates will have to choose the correct answer option and click on it with the help of a mouse. Since CUET UG  exam will be conducted in CBT mode, test-takers will be able to mark only one answer option.

Common University Entrance Test syllabus is released by National Testing Agency, the conducting body. NTA issues the CUET UG syllabus with the release of official examination notification. Candidates preparing for CUET UG exam can download the subject-wise CUET syllabus PDF. 

Q:   What is CUET UG exam duration and slot?
A: 

CUET UG 2027 exam duration for each subject is 60 minutes. National Testing Agency will announce the CUET slot timings. NTA decides the number of slots and timings based on number of candidates applied for the exam. It is expected that CUET exam will be held in three slots on each day.

The National Testing Agency will release the CUET PG LLB Result 2027 within a month of the exam (in June). The NTA will release the statistics related to the exam but will not release the roll numbers in the public domain. The CUET PG LLB scorecard will notify the result.

No, CUET is conducted on multiple days in more than one shift. According to last year, NTA conducts CUET exam in two shifts. Candidates get the CUET exam dates for their subjects in admit card.

Yes, you can take CUET UG exam again. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a candidate can take in CUET exam. As long as they meet the age limit of their target university for preferred course, students can apply for CUET exam for more than one time.
