National Institute of Technology Agartala offers admission to the M.Tech course on the basis of candidates' performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The final selection is followed by the CCMT counselling process. Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur is the conducting body of CCMT counselling. Interested candidates need to register for the CCMT counselling.

NIT Agartala offers BSc+B.Ed course of five-year duration. Besides, the institute offer Bachelor of Science (BS) + MS programmes across three specialisations.
