BE/BTech with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA in a relevant branch of Engineering is the basic eligibility for M.Tech at NIT Calicut. No, NIT Calicut does not facilitate direct admission to any of the courses. Admission is entirely based on merit in the national-level exams, including JEE Main,  GATE,  IIT JAM,  CAT,  NIMCET,  UGC NET, etc. Candidates are further required to participate in other selection rounds, such as counselling, written exam, and interview as well, as per the applied course selection criteria.

For admission to BTech at NIT Calicut, candidates are required to apply via JEE Main. The detailed steps around JEE Main applications process are as follows:

Step 1: Open the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) and click on the ‘Registration for JEE (Main) 2024 link.

Step 2: Fill the registration form with the required information followed by clicking on the submit button.

Step 3: Fill the detailed application form and upload scanned images and documents.

Step 4: Pay the JEE Main application fees.

Step 5: The application will be submitted itself.
