IIT Guwahati has a beautiful campus.

Placements: About 20% of the students from our course got placed, and many students opt for higher studies like PhD. L&T company visit our college for placements. None of the students applied for an internship. You can become a traffic engineer or highway engineer by studying this course.

Infrastructure: All the necessary equipment is available in our lab. Our labs are fully air-conditioned with Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are very nicely maintained and fully air-conditioned. The hostel rooms are very beautiful. Every student gets a single room with all the required things.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-educated and are very helpful. They teach us with modern techniques. They use a projector while teaching. They teach us both theoretical and practical knowledge. Whenever we need them, they are available to help us. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.

Other: I have completed my graduation in civil engineering, and I am interested in highway construction, so I have joined this course. Our course provides good knowledge of highway construction and traffic control. Alcheringa is the cultural fest which is celebrated like a festival in IIT Guwahati. Students get a scholarship here. Many extracurricular activities are conducted for students.
