College life at NIT Delhi is overall a good experience.
Placements: Almost 95% of students get placed here. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Google, Flipkart, Meesho, Walmart, etc., provide good placements to software students. Core companies like Bansal, Tata, and Reliance also offer good opportunities. Internship opportunities are provided to the students.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure and syllabus are best. Facilities available in labs and library are also good. The food quality in the mess is good. Sports and games are also great. The mess and canteen provide food at an affordable price.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive. The curriculum is also relevant to real-world problems and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult, based on the syllabus. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: The best thing about the course is that it makes you industry-ready. The practical knowledge and information it provides are relevant to the real world. Events and fests are usually organized here. Scholarship facilities are also available for students.

Food in mess is bad. 5 students share a room.
Placements: Percentage of placement in my college of my branch is more than in any other branch. It's about 89% and the highest package of this session is currently more than 55 LPA and the lowest is 9 LPA. Big MNCs like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and many others come for placements and internships. Top roles offered here are SWE.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity in hostel is not that fine but it sometimes fluctuates, in library or any other it's better than hostel. Classrooms are fully centralized and smart boards are available. The quality of the mess food is not good and the canteen also doesn't contain many items. Sports facilities are very good at this college. There is almost every game and there are coaches for each game.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in terms of studies and some teachers are very strict with their course. They try hard to make students industry-ready. If you want to know about the difficulty of semester exams it varies according to teachers and subject. Many times pass percentage is between 75% to 100% but sometimes it degrades up to 50%.
Other: I would like to pursue my career as an electrical engineer before and after when I came to this college. I got to know that the company related to software visits more than the core companies so because of placements I would prefer to go on the software side. I would say that there must be a fest in a year. College doesn't conduct any kind of fest or other sports fest. There are many clubs in college and many of them are currently active such as photography club, cultural club, and tech club.

NIT-Delhi College Review by its Second Year student.
Placements: Last year in 2023 almost 89% of the students got placed and 92% students from my branch I. e. Electrical Engineering got placed in various companies. Some of the top recruiters were Adobe, Atlassian, Goldman Sachs, MathWorks, etc. The highest package of the college was from electrical engineering of 88 LPA and the average package of the college was 17 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really very good but the problem is there is ongoing construction. The college is not completely built. Due to this reason there is shortage of Hostels inside the campus and therefore the first year boys are allocated hostels outside the campus. The quality of mess food is below average and they cost Rs. 3500 per month. The fees of Non-AC hostel is Rs. 18000 per semester and AC hostel the fees is Rs. 28000 per semester.
Faculty: The curriculum is completely relevant and designed according to the industrial need. The college follows New Education Policy 2020. All the professors are quite knowledgeable in their field and are Ph.D. holders, the Teaching assistants are doing Ph.D. or M.Tech from this college itself. The semester exams also are set according to the syllabus.
Other: I chose this college as this was the best college that I can get according to my JEE Main rank. I am satisfied by the course I am studying, we are given practical knowledge, all the labs are well-equipped, and numerous site visits are carried to enhance our knowledge. The drawback about this college that it is situated at the outskirts of Delhi and the nearest metro station is at a distance of 10kms. There is an extra focus on sports and an annual sports fest Zeal is organised.

Return of investment is great.
Placements: Placements are quite good. Each and every student gets placed and the average package is also around 18 LPA. Apart from software profiles, the number of core profiles is also quite common. Regarding internships, many companies visit our campus and offer well-paid stipends. The lowest package is 6 LPA, which is still in the software firm.
Infrastructure: The hostels are well furnished, along with AC. Rooms are spacious. We have two hostels, one for girls named Yamuna hostel and the other for boys named Dhauladhar hostel. First-year boys are accommodated on the old campus, which is situated in a narela. These hostels are also good and the option of AC is also available there.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and all are Ph.D. holders. The encouragement of research by the professors is quite good. Most of them are well recognized for their work around the globe. The course curriculum is quite difficult but still, the support and dedication of faculty members compensate for these difficulties.

Good college with a scope of improvement.
Placements: The placement season has just started for my batch. Companies are visiting for internship drives currently maybe 4 or 5 students from my batch have got good offers. The offers are in the range of 40k to 60k. Almost all recruiting companies come for sde and data analytics roles. So preparing for those roles is a must.
Infrastructure: The hostels are newly constructed so they are in a good condition. The furniture such as almirah and table chair are less they are still in the making so students joining later may have access to all furniture. Current ratio might be 4 tables for 5 people. The hostels are 5 seater and you may find bunk beds on some floors. Wi-Fi, labs classroom are well maintained no problem in those things. Library facilities are currently from 9:30 am to 11 pm on weekdays and everyday during exam period. No comment on mess. Canteen are still improving but decent quality. You can find a dispensary in the campus free for NITD family. Recently sports grounds were constructed and they are in good condition well-equipped with food light and synthetic flooring.
Faculty: Faculty are knowledgeable and well qualified almost all are Ph.D. from top institutes of India. The number of students amd faculty are quite low. So you can interact with most of them. The curriculum is relevant for GATE in electrical branch (for the CS branch the curriculum is good and relevant for placements ) but the college has taken initiative to start minor degrees with industry relevant curriculum allocated to students with CGPA cutoff. Minor degree offered by department of CS is AI/ML in case of Electronics department it is system on a chip and in case of electrical department it is reliability engineering.
Other: Electrical engineering is evergreen branch so job guarantee and also I am interested in electrical motors. We are taught the fundamentals of electrical and we deal with abstract ideas and Maths related to it. Electrical fundamentals are almost all covered in the 2nd year of engineering. Events are regularly conducted in the college like quiz debate writing competitions. There is one annual fest which is the techno-cultural fest jointly organised by the technical and cultural club. Compus is connected to Delhi via GT karnal road so you can always uber ola or take DTC services to jahangirpuri that is the nearest metro station.
