SEED Admit Card 2026 - The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will release the SEED 2026 admit card on January 05, 2026 for the B.Des programme. The direct link to download the admit card will be provided here. The SEED admit card can be downloaded using a login ID and password.

The SEED 2026 written exam will be conducted on January 11, 2026 (60 Minutes between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm). On the day of the exam, bring your admit card, or else you will not be allowed to take the exam. The admit card will contain details like the date and time of the exam, roll number, and exam-day details.
Admit cards for the PRPI will be released later. Also, candidates will be shortlisted for the PRPI based on their written exam scores.

- Click on the ‘Admit Card’ download link given above
- Enter SEED login ID and password
- View SEED 2026 admit card
- Download the admit card for the SEED exam
- Take a printout.

The scores of the SEED 2025 exam will be next shortlisted for a Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction round. Note that the final merit list will be prepared by considering the cumulative performance of the candidate in the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Portfolio Review, PRPI Task, and Personal Interaction (PRPI).
So, any candidate who appears in the SEED but doesn’t appear in the PRPI will not be considered for admission.
The B.Des is a 4-year course carrying 160 credits.

SEED Admit Card: Important Points
After downloading the admit card for the SID entrance exam, aspirants need to take a clear colored print of their SEED admit card and place their latest passport-sized colored photograph on their SEED Admit Card 2025 at the required place; otherwise, they will not be allowed to take the test. Candidates are informed that a black-and-white admit card printout will not be accepted.
Note: If candidates are appearing for two exams (that is, one in the morning session and one in the afternoon), then they need to carry two separate SEED admit cards with them.
Important Documents to Carry with SEED Admit Card
Along with SEED admit card, candidates need to carry a valid photo ID proof on the day of the entrance test. “An authorized person from the Symbiosis International University will verify and authenticate your Admit Card against the photo ID on the test day. The candidate needs to preserve the admit card until the admission process is over.

The candidate has to upload a digital portfolio as part of the admission process at SID. The digital portfolio must be a compilation of the candidate’s best works and showcase their skills, passion, and interest in a variety of areas and techniques. The candidate must ensure that the portfolio includes items that he or she is proud of. Try to be different and include unique and interesting things.
When uploading the portfolio, the candidate must follow the specifications and guidelines issued by the admission official.
Portfolio submission is the 2nd stage of the SEED 2025 admission process. Candidates who are shortlisted for the PRPI need to upload portfolio and PRPI task starting March 27, 2024.
The portfolio and PRPI upload link will be available on the SID website after the candidate has booked the Personal Interaction slots.

The digital portfolio should be a compilation of the best work of the candidate that showcases teh candidate’s skills, passion and interest in a variety of areas and techniques.
It is recommended to take good quality pictures of this work and compile them in a Power Point Presentation. Note that a maximum 15 slides are allowed.
You need to then convert this into PDF (max size 5 MB). Try to be different and include unique and interesting things.
As per the information given on SID website, the institute does not promote or is aware of any coaching classes/preparatory classes. So, the candidate has the discretion to decide whether the want to join any coaching institute of not. Note that there are many coaching institutes that offer preparatory classes for exams like NIFT, NID DAT, etc.
The candidate also has the option of downloading preparation materials online. But note that most practice materials are chargeable.
The Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) will be conducted in two phases. Phase I will conducted from March 28-30, 2025. Meanwhile, Phase 2 will be conducted from April 11-13, 2025.
The candidate was notified about the phase they needed to appear in through the PRPI admit card.
Note that the personal interaction was conducted in an online mode.

The application form of SEED 2025 is now OPEN for the M.Des program.
Candidates who met the prescribed eligibility criteria can apply from August 14 to April 15, 2025.

No, SEED M.Des 2026 application forms have not been released yet. The applications are out only for the B.Des programme by Symbiosis Institute of Design. M.Des Applications for 2026 are expected to be out soon.

Yes, SEED will conduct a mock test for B.Des Admission 2026. The Mock test will be conducted on January 07, 2026, and the exams will be conducted on January 11, 2026.
