The college is maintained there reputation with good and humble faculty members.
Placements: Majority of the students get placed through college campus in IT CS domain, overall companies placement is average and companies are only coming for the computer and IT field other branches are surviving nowadays, only few core companies are coming now.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good and accommodation is easily available near the college so there is no worry about searching for a room. So there is no point to worrying about accommodation it is easily available and also on No broker, people update rental stuff so it makes worthy.
Faculty: Faculty members are well trained and they always know the trend and as per this they develop themselves to give us maximum output and they focus on overall development like group discussion and presentations, so we feel it makes us very comfortable at the time of interview.

Our college is good and has good placements for all the branches.
Placements: Our college has a good rate of placing students, and around 50-60% of students get placed. Many companies come to VIT for recruitments. For core branches it is average, but better as compared to other colleges in Pune. Teachers guide about placements, interviews, and all other requirements.
Infrastructure: This college has good facility in mess and canteen. Our college has well-developed infrastructure. There is a hostel, but the hostel fee is high, ie., about 1 lakh per year. Most of the students prefer to live on rent. Our college also has a playground and all facilities like laboratories, library, Wi-Fi, and digital classrooms are provided.
Faculty: The curriculum is constantly updated and better than many colleges. Teachers are helpful and all are Ph.D. holders or masters. The teaching is very interactive, project-based, and more focused on innovation. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. There are many groups for students' overall growth.
Other: In this college, many events are held.

It is a ragging-free campus. It is the best college for CS and IT branches.
Placements: Nearly 60-70% of students get placement, and it varies with a different branch. The highest salary package offered ranges from 10-15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tata Elxsi and automobile industries. About 50-60% of students got an internship. We can choose the roles or group projects, and by the guidance of different faculty members, it can get patented.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not world-class and also not too low quality. Our college has medium quality items and tools, which are sufficient. It has a Wi-Fi campus, but it works 2G, which is the worst part. The hostel is too costly compared to the facilities given. The washerman comes after every 3 days, which is also sufficient. The quality of the food served is average. The best part about VIT college is extracurricular activities in which sports are number 1. There are different clubs to join and enrich your talent.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and well-qualified. Their teaching methods are modern, which derives the fun learn rather just mugging up everything. Practical knowledge has been given more importance. It is an autonomous college, so the most grade is for practicals.

Ohr infrastructure is good.
Placements: 40% of our students GOT placed by top most companies which were present for the campus recruitment. Avg 3.5lakhs of salary were offered by these companies to the students. L&T, JCB, Mercedes Benz. The highest salary offered was about 6 Lacs and the lowest salary offered was about 2.5 Lacs. 90% of students GOT internship.
Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is quite good. Our classrooms and labs are quite organized. Also we have library facility available for the students. Our college hostel vis quite good. The rooms are neat and clean and well organized. We do have sports department in our college which organizes many sport events and manages all the sport teams.
Faculty: Our teaching staff is quite good at their respective fields. They have sincere knowledge of their respective streams. They all are very helpful in nature. Our course outcome helps the students to be ready for the jobs at industry level after the graduation.

Good department but poor placements.
Placements: There were 54 students in our production department in the latest academic year. From these, 40 students were interested for placements out of which 8 students got placed in various companies. Companies like Enpro industries, John Deere, Mahindra, Benz come to our college for campus placements which offer jobs and internships to our students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good in condition. There is only one ground for all the sports activities which is too short for playing some sports eg:cricket. But still we play on the same ground. Wi-Fi quality is not so good. We have well-equipped labs which are in very good condition. Library is also good.
Faculty: Course curriculum is good. We have fortunately got very good faculty members. They are getting very good projects from various famous research institutes like ISRO. I don't know the exact faculty ratio but number of teachers are enough for all of the students in our department.
Other: Crowd is good. College held numbers of events, workshops, extracurricular activities. We have various clubs related to robotics, IEEE, Baja, Supra, Taurus, etc.

Regarding studies college is best and it gives you better if you work hard
Placements: You get placement in every branch of our vit college and in production you can get placement in Byjus, Tata, Mahindra and our seniors are placed in each of this company. Till the date the highest salary is offered is 35 Lacs, and 64% students got internship from college.
Infrastructure: Its not that good buildings are old and no proper planning of infrastructure, there are no Wi-Fi available for you, ground is also too short to play sports and games and also there is no medical facilities there is no proper filter for drinking water.
Faculty: Faculty is best the teaching part is very good and students can understand better no need of extra tuitions or classes. We get industry exposure with the help of summer internship. The course curriculum is filter each year for betterment of students.
Other: Events are best part of VIT there are many events held in vit and it's interesting.

Better than most of the state colleges in Maharashtra.
Placements: The placements for production engineering are average in the college. They were more or less the same for my batch and my senior batch. The batch was of 40 during my time. Almost 10 students got placed (out of 40, many of them didn't opt for placements). You get some very good core companies along with some companies which are open to all. It's not like everyone from the department gets placed, but if you have a decent pointer and good aptitude skills, you can clear interviews. The highest package for my batch was 7 LPA ( only one girl was placed). The major companies that visited the campus were Caterpillar, Mercedes, Kirloskar oil engines, and Tata Technologies.
Infrastructure: The campus is little small, but it has everything in it. The infrastructure is little old, but it has labs well renovated from time to time. The campus has Wi-Fi, but most of the websites are blocked. The college has one canteen, one New Poona bakery, one fruit centre and one Nescafe outlet. The canteen is not up to the mark, but the other food joints are good. Overall, the infrastructure would not be a problem once you are in the college. Life at VIT is awesome.
Faculty: The college has its syllabus as it is autonomous, which is updated timely as per the industry requirements. You have many optional courses to choose in the college. You can also learn any one foreign language in the first year (German, French, Spanish, Japanese), and also from the second year, you get various courses from which you can choose. It's like, you have some compulsory subjects and some optional subjects to choose. Teaching methods are more like any other colleges. Many industrial visits do take place from the college. Also, many guest faculty members do come to the campus. The curriculum is very useful.
Other: You have many events going on in the year (Vishwakarandak, Melange, Annual day), and also technical events like Baha, Supra, and cultural like Firodiya and Purshottam Karandak.

It is good for education, but bad for the other activities.
Placements: The placements of the production department are the worse. From the previous batch, only 4 to 5 students got placed out of 50 students. The placement percentage of our department is less than 10%. The people in our department don't even bother to sit during the interviews in the college placement.
Infrastructure: If you go through the internet and search for VIT, you will find the tall blue buildings which are spread in a wide range, but its all hoax. You won't even find a spot to park your vehicle when arriving at the college, that's how bad the condition of our college.
Faculty: The only good thing about our college is the faculty. You have to maintain a very good relationship with your teachers as this is an autonomous institute, and teachers do their work as it pleases them. They only care for you when the time of feedback arrives.
Other: The student section of our college is not at all cooperative. They always behave as they have achieved a great deal of success in their life, and the students are begging for their help. They won't even bother to help at the time you forget to attach a document to submission of EBC and the other forms.

Hi, You have got percentiles good enough to get Production Engineering in VIT-Pune. You can also apply to ELEX or E&TC. With this score, you can also expect Industrial Engineering too.

Hi Ameya, There is no industrial training as such but they keep on visiting different industries. They work on various projects. Talking about your confusion, you should compare the faculties and placement scenario of both of these colleges. Then reach to some conclusion. All the best!

The average package is normally based on the performance of that particular batch. It's generally around 4 to 4.5 LPA.
