GATE 2027 DigiLocker Login Issues: Important Points to Note

GATE registration 2027 is ongoing, and registration through DigiLocker is mandatory for Indian nationals

• Candidates can complete their GATE exam registration 2027 either from mobile phone or laptop

• Facial verification can be done after registration. It is recommended to use a mobile phone with atleast 5 MP camera

• Candidate’s mobile number and email ID must be associated with DigiLocker

• Candidates must ensure that all information is updated in DigiLocker

How to register for GATE 2027 through DigiLocker Login

This year, IIT Madras has replaced GATE registration on GOAPS directly with DigiLocker login. Candidate’s name, mobile number, email ID, address, verified ID, profile picture, etc. are fetched from DigiLocker directly. Therefore, ensure that all information is updated correctly. 

GATE DigiLocker Login 2027 Issue: Documents to be upload

Before filling the GATE exam form 2027, candidates have to upload documents as per the format and upload them with the prescribed name. The following documents must be uploaded in DigiLocker:

• Recent scanned photo (not older than 3 months)

• Scanned signature

• Scanned copy of valid ID proof

• Category/PwD/Dyslexic certificate in PDF (if applicable)

• Go to DigiLocker website and click on login

• Click profile and go to my profile name

• Edit email-ID and provide a new mail address.
