🎬Stage 5 - The Test Series Phase: "Rishte main toh hum tumhare baap lagte hain"
You opt for GATE mock tests with full confidence, thinking that you will slay them. But then the first attempt comes out, it kind of hurts. The GATE mock test do not go easy, they teach you lesson, you build time management, improve accuracy, patience and a big personality makeover.
Much like Amitabh Bachchan in Shahenshah, the GATE test series tells you who’s boss. And yes, you’ll hate it, but also love it because it shows where you truly stand.
🎬Stage 6 - The Peak Stress Before the Exam Day, and the dialogue hits "Mujhse Dosti Karoge"
In the final month, even the calmest aspirants turn into anxious bundles of energy. Suddenly, every formula looks new, every topic feels weak, and Google searches like “How to revise GATE syllabus in 30 days” become your best friends.
This is when your inner heart pleads like Salman in Maine Pyar Kiya: “Will you please be nice to me, MEMORY?”
🎬Stage 7- One Night Before Exam: the Iconic dialogue “All izz well!”
Now its time for a liitle panic treat. Imagine, notes spread everywhere, alarm ticking, chai cups piled up like trophies. Still, you chant the legendary mantra of 3 idiots- All Izz Well. Even if you haven't completed the syllabus 100%, you tell yourself- confidence should be more than chaos.

Finally, it’s showtime! You walk into the GATE 2026 exam hall/centre like a hero entering the climax scene. Butterflies in your stomach? Of course. But you know one thing, all those months of struggle have brought you here.
Now it's time to relax, execute calmness, and trusting your preparation throughout the years and months.
🎬Stage 9 - After the Exam: "Picture Khatam, Popcorn Hazam
And now that the exam is over, it's a relief and chaos and feels like a blockbuster ending. Whether you cracked it or not, it doesn't matter, but you know you gave your best shot. So, now it's just the right time to relax and enjoy the moment. But, deep down we all know, that we keep refreshing our phone for the GATE result updates.
Just like a Bollywood movie, GATE has every element to make a blockbuster hit: friendship with books, drama with mock tests, suspense before results, and thrill on the exam day. Some days you might feel like a HERO, but on other days, you might feel yourself like a supporting cast, but let's be real, every single stage, makes the GATE journey memorable.
So, next time prep feels heavy, remind yourself: “Haar kar jeetne wale ko hi baazigar kehte hain.”
