IIT BHU MTech programme is offered across seven specialisations along with eight interdisciplinary specialisations. Each of these seven specialisations is divided across sub specialisations. The programme is offered for a duration of two years in full-time, part-time (external) and part-time (internal) modes. Candidates, fulfilling the eligibility criteria, can apply in online mode for MTech admission by registering on the COAP portal and further applying official website of IIT BHU. IIT BHU MTech Admission 2021

IIT BHU admission 2021 to MTech programme is based on a valid GATE score obtained by eligible candidates. The seat allotment process is then carried out through COAP Counselling. On the basis of GATE score, the merit list is prepared by the board and then offered seats on the basis of availability of seats at the institute. On acceptance of the seats through COAP portal, the candidates can reserve their seats by paying an admission fee to the institute. IIT BHU Application Process 2021

For seeking admission to the courses offered at IIT Varanasi, as a first step, candidates are required to visit the official website of respective national-level entrance exam conducting bodies and fill the application form in online mode. PG and PhD aspirants are also required to fill the IIT BHU application form 2021 and pay an application fee of Rs 500 for seeking admission. IIT Varanasi application process is shown below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT BHU (www.iitbhu.ac.in). On its homepage, click on ‘Admission’ tab and choose ‘PG’ from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Click on ‘Application Procedure’ to proceed further. The online application portal opens up. The admission brochure and course structure PDFs can be downloaded from this page.

Step 3: Click on ‘New User Register Here’. Fill the registration form with all the details, including name, email ID, contact number, course preference, etc. Also, create an alpha-numeric password for future logins.

Step 4: Further, fill in the remaining application form by addressing other details, including guardian info, address of communication, etc. Also, upload a passport-size photograph and signature at this step.

Step 5: Pay an application fee of Rs 500 in online mode through SBI payment gateway using a debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Step 6: Proceed with the second-last step of the application form by filling in entrance exam, work experience (if any), reference & publications (for PhD applicants) and academic details.

Step 7: Conclude the application process by approving the self-declaration and hitting the ‘Submit’ button. Candidates can also download and print the application form for future references.

IIT BHU Scholarships 2021

IIT BHU offers merit-cum-means scholarships to 25% of UG students. Besides, there are several endowment scholarships offered by the institute. Some other facilities are also provided to the UG students in the form of institute free studentship, scholarship, reimbursement of mess charges and pocket allowances to the students belonging to the SC/ ST category. All the students (non-sponsored) admitted to MTech/ MPharm programmes are provided financial assistance equivalent to the Junior Research Fellowships (JRFs).
