NITTE Deemed to be University has announced the exam dates for NUCAT 2024 for BTech course. The exam is to be conducted in 3 schedules. NUCAT test 1 will be conducted on February 17, 2024, and February 18, 2024.
NUCAT 2024 Application Process
NUCAT 2024 application forms are currently available on official website. The NUCAT application form for BTech course was available online from January 1, 2024. The last date to apply for NUCAT 2024 test 1 is February 6, 2024. The registration process for NUCAT 2024 test 2 will begin on February 7, 2024

Candidates applying under the General/Inclusivity category should register on apply.nitte.edu.in during the specified dates mentioned in table below, based on their preferred test. Each candidate is allowed to take a maximum of 3 tests, and the highest score will be considered for ranking. A Test Registration fee must be paid during the online registration for each test. Upon successful registration, candidates will receive the Information Bulletin outlining the admission procedure through NUCAT.

The NUCAT exam date 2026 has been announced. NUCAT Test 2 will be conducted on April 25, 2026 to April 27, 2026. The exam will be conducted in three slots, in February, April and June 2026. NITTE University conducts NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test) three times a year to provide multiple opportunities to the candidates to appear for the entrance exam and to increase the chances of admission for the students.
A laptop or desktop is the primary device used to attend the exam. The mobile can be used as the third eye. Candidates cannot attend the exam only with a mobile phone.
The duration of NUCAT exam is usually 2 hours. NUCAT can be taken at home or at exam centre. Technical requirements to take test online are as follows:
- Computer CPU: i3 Processor or equivalent (higher always recommended)
- Computer RAM: 4 GB (higher is always recommended)
- Operating System (OS):
Windows 10 (x64) Windows 11 (x64,) Ubuntu 18.4 or 20.4 version (x64) MAC OS (Version 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, 10.14, 10.15, 11, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3, 11.4, 11.5, and 11.6)
- Browser: Google Chrome (90 and above) or Microsoft Edge (90 and above)
- Internet Speed: 500 Kbps
- Microphone: The laptop/desktop must be connected to a working microphone
- Camera: Any functional webcam with HD/FHD (recommended)
- Mobile phone / Tab connected with internet: For 3rd eye
If candidates don't meet all the listed technical requirements, they must take NUCAT Test at one of designated test centres, reserved during slot time and date.
