UPTAC Counselling is a state-level initiative that provides admission to the first year of BTech, BArch, BBA, BMS, BCA, BDes, BPharm, BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, BVoc, MBA, MBA  (Integrated)/ MCA/ MCA(Integrated)/ M Tech (Integrated) and 2nd Year (Lateral Entry) of BTech/ BPharmacy/ MCA courses. UPTAC is valid for AKTU and its affiliated colleges, along with other state Universities that wish to participate in the counselling for admitting students to multiple courses. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow (AKTU) is the conducting body of UPTAC counselling. The counselling is based on national-level entrance exams, such as JEE Main, CUET UG, and NATA. In this article, students will learn about the Participating Institutes in UPTAC counselling.

Every year, UPTAC releases a list of colleges participating in its counselling process. Here is the list of all the participating colleges for UPTAC 2025 counselling. 

UPTAC Counselling Process 2025: Step-by-Step Guidelines

All the private or government institutions participating in the UPTAC 2025 counselling need to follow the step-by-step process as mentioned below. The counselling process follows a well-organised, easy-to-follow set of steps for a better and transparent admission process. 

Registration & Documents Upload: This is the very first step.  To participate in UPTAC counselling process, students must register online. During registration, you have to provide education details, personal information, communication address and upload required documents.

Document verification: After the registration process is over, centralized verification committee will verify the documents uploaded by the students. In case of any mismatched information or error in the document you will be intimated through registered email. Students must upload the correct document before the last date.

Choice Filling: After document verification, choice-filling process will start. In this process, students have to make a choice of college and courses.

Seat Allotment: Based on the choices filled by the students along with their ranks and availability of seats, reservation criteria, etc, round-wise seat allotments are released. 

Seat Confirmation & Rejection: Seat allotment results will be declared online. Students have to check UPTAC official website for seat allotment. The allotment is based on their choice, rank, availability of seats, and more. If you are satisfied with the allotment, then accept the seat, then report to the alloted college carrying the required documents.

Physical Reporting: Students who choose to 'Freeze' their option and are satisfied with the allotted institute and course are required to physically report to the allotted institute.

Students need to carry the following document while reporting to allotted institute.

• Seat Allotment Letter
• Original Certificate (Class 10 & 12) 
• Valid ID Proof
• Domicile & Caste Certificate (if applicable) 
• Seat Acceptance Fee Receipt
