Should you drop a year or not?
If you are really passionate about courses in the fields of engineering, agriculture and medicine then you can drop a year. If you really show much interest in the long term, you can prefer to drop a year. Actually, in practice, many of the students hesitate to drop a year. Because they will think that 1 year may be waste if we do not get a good rank. Of course, it is true, but if you have courage, spirit and mostly if you are interested then you can choose to drop a year for your upcoming examination preparation. However, if you really do not have any interest in the long term then avoid dropping a year. Though you don’t have an interest, however, your family members forced to take long term then don’t hesitate to say no because it is your life and for the long term, you should possess the interest to work hard.
Are there colleges that take low score?
Actually, it is 50-50 chances to get the best colleges with a low score. It depends on the cut off and competition level of examination. Moreover, if you interested to join in any private colleges then there may be chances to get the best colleges. You can join either by management seats or by counselling process. If you are interested in famous deemed universities you can direct admissions and management seats and based on their own entrance examinations.
Should you wait for subsequent counselling sessions?
However, you get low and if you have hope then you may attend for counselling sessions. In these counselling sessions, also you have 50-50 chances if your score is low. If toppers got seats in IITs, NITs, IIITs then you may get chances to get admissions in government and private colleges in Telangana state. Every year there will be at least three counselling sessions for statewide examinations. Therefore, you have more chances to get seats if you wait until the last counselling sessions.
Should you attempt the exam again?
Most of the students will have examination fear, tension and stress, they will do some silly mistakes, etc., If you really overcome all these silly mistakes, examination fear, tension etc., then you choose to write this exam again. If you really have command over the subject then you may reattempt this exam. If you want to give the next attempt try to overcome the repeated mistakes, study well and have a good study plan, choose books wisely and if necessary take suggestions from your faculty and seniors.
