CUSAT CAT MA Counselling 2026 Seat Allotment: Check Dates, Fees & Procedure

The CUSAT CAT 2026 counselling is a multi-step process involving registration, selecting preferences, seat allocation, document checks, and tuition payment. To fill all remaining vacancies, the university conducts multiple regular rounds followed by a spot admission phase.

CUSAT CAT counselling registration 2026

This is the first stage of the counselling process wherein a candidate has to complete the registration. In order to register for the CUSAT CAT 2026 counselling, applicants have to use the login credentials such as User ID and password.

CUSAT choice filling (Option entry)

After completing the CUSAT CAT counselling registration process, candidates have to fill the colleges according to their preference. Select the colleges in which you are interested to take admission and then lock & submit the choices. If any candidate fails to lock & submit his/her choices then it will be done automatically.

CUSAT CAT 2026 seat allotment

The seat allotment is prepared considering the rank, college preference, seats available etc. CUSAT seat allotment result will release online and a candidate can access it by using the login credentials. Download the seat allotment letter and carry it with to the allotted institute.

Fee payment

After the release of the CUSAT seat allotment result 2026, candidates need to pay the fee. If a candidate fails to pay, the fee within the prescribed time then his/her seat will get cancelled.

Note: If a candidate fails to pay fees before the stipulated last date of payment of an allotment, then all the options for that candidate will be cancelled, and he/she will not be considered for subsequent allotments. However, he or she can participate in the spot admission, if any. 

Report to the Allotted College

On completion of the payment process, candidates will be notified about the date and time to report to the allotted college. Carry original as well as two sets of photocopy of the documents. Check the list of the documents required for the document verification below.

Candidates must provide complete and original documents during the verification process. Shortlisted candidates have to pay the fee to confirm their admission.
