MHT CET Answer Key 2026: The CET Cell has released the MHT CET 2nd attempt final answer key for PCM & PCB groups. Candidates who appeared for the MHT CET exam can check the updated answer keys for their respective shift through the login portal at cetcell.mahacet.org. The objection redressal report for the final keys can be summarised in the following way:

  • 1st Attempt PCM: Bonus Marks for 16 Questions + 4 Answers Updated
  • 1st Attempt PCB: 2 Answers Updated
  • 2nd Attempt PCB: 3 Answers Updated
  • 2nd Attempt PCM: Bonus Marks for 14 Questions + 14 Answers Updated

How to Download MHT CET Answer Key 2026?

CET Cell has released the final MHT CET 2026 answer key for second attempt PCM group. Candidates can check the MHT CET answer key in online mode. To download the answer key, click on the direct link below and follow the instructions:

  • Go to the official website of MHT CET 2026.
  • Click on the MHT CET login window.
  • Enter the email ID and password.
  • Under the objection tracker, candidates can check the MHT CET answer key.

*Note that the response sheet is available only till the end of the objection period. After this, candidates cannot access their response sheets.

How to challenge MHT CET 2026 Answer Key?

Candidates not satisfied with the provisional answer key can raise objections online by logging in to the website cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates have to submit their challenges along with a solution supporting their claim to the question to the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.

Objections received other than online, such as through courier or post, will not be entertained. Candidates raising objections against answer key have to pay INR 1000 + service charges for each objection. The  objection tracker fees paid for objections found to be valid will be refunded to the respective candidates. The step-by-step procedure to challenge the answer key is:

  • Visit the official website of MHT CET 2026 - cetcell.mahacet.org
  • Check for the "Candidate Login" tab and click on it 
  • Log in using the required credentials
  • Click on the 'Objection Tracker' tab
  • The question paper with the correct answer and other options will appear on the screen
  • Select the question that needs to be challenged and also select the answer that you deem correct
  • Pay the challenge fee and submit the form.

Yes, candidates need to provide supporting proof for MHT CET answer key challenge. Supporting document has to be uploaded to the website while submitting the answer key challenge. The Maharashtra CET Cell will not accept the answer key challenge without proper supporting proof.

How to calculate score using MHT CET 2026 Answer Key

Candidates can know their estimated score in the exam using the provisional answer key released by the CET Cell. The score obtained through the final answer key will be the actual score, and it will be available in the result.

Once the provisional answer key and candidate response sheet are released, candidates can download them from the CET website. Using the response sheet, check for the answers you marked in the exam and verify the correct answers through the official answer key. The sum obtained of all the correct answers will be the score in the exam.

Candidates can calculate expected scores in exam through MHT CET answer key. They can calculate their score, subtract marks for every incorrect answer from marks of all correct answers. For this, candidates must know the MHT CET marking scheme. As per MHT CET marking scheme:

  • 2 marks is allotted for every correct answer
  • -1 mark for every incorrect answer
  • No mark for unattempted questions
