What is TS PGECET?
TS PGECET is a state-level engineering entrance exam conducted to offer admission to postgraduate engineering courses, such as MTech, M.E, M.Pharma. The test is conducted by JNTHU Hyderabad once a year. In addition, TG PGECET also accepts GATE exam and GPAT scores for admission to MTech colleges in Telangana.

The Telangana Council of Higher Education is responsible for conducting TS PGECET counselling. The counselling is done in phases. Candidates who have qualified Telangana State Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) are eligible for the counselling process.

How to register for TS PGECET Counselling?

TSCHE usually conducts two to three rounds of TS PGECET counselling. A spot counselling might also be conducted depending on the seat availability. TSCHE will publish TS PGECET 2026 cutoff for all colleges and branches listed under Telangana PGECET. The authorities will upload the cutoff in the form of opening and closing ranks. The PGECET rank will be released separately for each counselling phase. Candidates must note that there are two types of cutoff:
- Qualifying cutoff, which is the minimum passing mark in TS PGECET 2026 (30 marks for General/OBC/OC and BC)
