CTET Exam Centre 2026 OUT: State wise Test Cities List & Codes

Candidates must reach the CTET exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards. Candidates generally need to report at the test centre 120 minutes before the examination.

Candidates are not allowed to carry the following items inside the exam centres: Stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/scanner, Cardboard etc. Mobile phones, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health band etc. Watch/Wrist watch Wallet, goggles, handbags, Gold/artificial ornaments etc.

Candidates who forget to carry the CTET admit card to the exam centre are not allowed to take the exam. The CTET admit card is a proof that the candidate had registered for the exam.

CTET admit card is a mandatory document to be carried by candidates to their allotted exam centre on the day of the exam. CTET exam is conducted in two shifts. The Shift 1 is from 9.30 am to 12:00 noon and shift 2 is from 2.30-5:00 pm. Each shift is of 2 hours 30 minutes duration. The exam is conducted in two shifts of each CTET exam date. Candidates giving the CTET exam need to appear at the allotted exam centre at the prescribed shift timing.

Yes, you can carry a transparent water bottle to the CTET exam centre. Candidates are allowed to carry only transparent water bottles. No other kind of water bottles will be permitted inside the exam centres.
