IBPS Clerk Application Form 2026 will be released online. The direct link to fill the online form will be provided on this page. The application fees for the IBPS Clerk exam are INR 850 for General and OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWD categories. The application fees can be paid online. Along with the application form, IBPS Clerk notification pdf  are also made available. The age prescribed for the IBPS Clerk exam is between 20 and 28 years.   • All the applicants who appear in the exam will be selected on the basis of qualifying marks and Cut off marks.
  • First of all, Cut Off marks are decided on the basis of your Region and Number of Vacancies available under it.
  • Second Factor affecting Cut Off is the highest Marks obtained by Candidate and Previous Cut Off Marks.
  • Moreover, Category of the applicant and number of posts available under that category are also considered while preparing the cut off

IBPS Clerk Exam Centres

Candidates are required to select the IBPS Clerk exam centres while filling the application form.  IBPS Clerk prelims exam is conducted in around 200 cities. IBPS Clerk mains exam is conducted in around 80 cities. Candidates are allotted test cities as per the choices given by the candidates.

Q:   Which are the items banned inside IBPS Clerk exam centre?
A: 
Candidates are not allowed to carry Stationery items such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner. Any communication device such as bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, etc. They cannot carry goggles, handbags, hairpin, hair band, belt, cap, wristwatch, camera, metallic item, etc. Eatable item is not allowed. Candidates must avoid wearing rings, earrings, nose-pin, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooch, etc.
Q:   What are the shifts for IBPS Clerk exam?
A: 

IBPS Clerk prelims exam is conducted in four shifts-09:00 AM to 10.00 AM, 11.30 AM to 12:30 PM, 02.00 PM to 03.00 PM & 4.30 PM to 5.30 PM. The Mains exam is conducted in two shifts-10:00 am-12:40 pm and 03:00 pm-05.40 pm. The details related to the shift timing and reporting time are mentioned in the admit card.

Yes, there are sectional timings in IBPS Clerk exam. In prelims exam, candidates will get 20 minutes to answer each section. In the Mains exam, 35 minutes each will be given to answer questions from General/Financial Awareness, General English and 45 minutes each will be given to attempt Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude questions. The section-wise exam timings for prelims and mains exam are given below.

Q:   What is IBPS Clerk exam pattern?
A: 

IBPS Clerk exam pattern two parts-prelims and mains. The prelims test comprises three sections and carries 100 marks. The Mains comprises four sections and carries 200 marks. 

 

 

Q:   What photo-identity proof should I carry to IBPS Clerk exam centre?
A: 
Candidates must carry any one of the photo-identity proof-Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving License, etc. To the IBPS Clerk exam centre along with the admit card. The photo-identity proof will be verified by the exam centre officials. Along with the original photo-identity proof, candidates should also take the xerox copy of it.
Q:   Will I be provided travelling allowances to reach IBPS Clerk exam centre?
A: 

Candidates will not be provided any allowances to reach IBPS Clerk exam cetre. They need to manage to reach to the exam centre of their own.  IBPS Clerk prelims exam is conducted in around 200 cities. IBPS Clerk Mains exam is conducted in around 80 cities. Candidates are allotted test cities as per their preferences. Once the test cities are allotted it cannot be changed.

Q:   Can I carry ration card and learner's driving lincense as photo-identity proof to IBPS Clerk exam centre?
A: 
Ration Card and Learner's Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof for IBPS Clerk exam. Candidates should note that their name appearing on the call letter should exactly match the name as appearing on the photo identift proof. If there is any mismatch between the name indicated in the call letter and photo identity proof are not allowed to appear for the exam. In case of candidates who have changed their name are allowed only if they produce Gazette notification/their marriage certificate/affidavit. Photo ID should be valid as on the day of the examination.
