The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key 2025 on its official website - ssc.gov.in. The candidates are required to login with their SSC One Time Registration (OTR) and password to download the Tier 1 answer key and response sheet PDF. The Candidates can download their answer key and response sheet and calculate their score. The last date to send objection against the incorrect answers is October 19, 2025 till 9.00 PM.

The exam was conducted from September 12 to 26 and on October 14 (rescheduled exam). The Commission mentioned on its ‘X’ handle that the SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 answer key pdf will be released in day or two from the reschedule exam date. The candidates can send the objections against the incorrect answers by submitting the objection fee of INR 50 only.

How to Calculate Scores through SSC CGL Answer Key?

The Staff Selection Commission assigns the marks in the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam in the following way 

  • +2 for each correct answer
  • -0.5 for each incorrect answer and 
  • 0 for each attempted question. 

Total marks in the exam is 200 only . If the candidate secures the marks more than the cutoff of their category, they will be declared qualified for the next stage.

If the candidate secures marks more than the CGL cutoff of their category, they will be declared qualified for the next stage.
