SSC CGL Job Profile 2024: The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CGL 2024 notification on June 24. The Commission mentioned all the SSC CGL posts with its age limit and educational qualifications in the official notification. The last date to apply for the SSC CGL 2024 is July 24. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2024 will be conducted online as a Computer-Based Exam (CBE) in September/October 2024.

The Commission released the advertisement online only and mentioned the name and pay level of the posts only. SSC did not mention the job profile for the posts mentioned in the notification. Assistant Audit Officer Job Profile

As the name suggests, the basic responsibility endowed on this post is audit. As it is a gazetted post, we can say it is an entry-level officer post. The job profile includes.

• The responsibility of this post is to assist the Audit Officer or Senior Audit Officer in conducting various departmental audits of government organizations.
• Auditing the accounts of the central departments/institutions which falls under the purview of the Comptroller and Accountant General (CAG) of India or where the officer is sent to oversee the audit

Inspector means the person who inspects. In any department, the main work of the inspector is to check whether the functioning is going on as per the rules laid down by the government. This post falls in the Group B non-gazetted category. His power is to check any violation by the functionaries, be it private or public.
