BAMU admissions 2025 are open for UG and PG courses. Interested candidates can apply for their desired courses through the official website of the university. A few more updates are as follows:
- The MAT 2026 Feb session registration is open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Feb 23, 2026, and the test is scheduled for Mar 1, 2026. Further, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Mar 2, 2026, and the test will be held on Mar 8, 2026.
- The CAT 2025 result is out for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates need to log in to check and download their scorecards on the official CAT portal.
- The MAH MBA CET 2026 application form is out for admission to MBA/MMS courses, with the last date being Feb 12, 2026. Also, the session 1 exam will be conducted tentatively from Apr 6 to Apr 8, 2026, and the session 2 exam will be held on May 9, 2026(Tentative).
- The registration process for the MHT CET 2026 has started for admission, and the last date to register is Feb 12, 2026 for admission to BE/BTech and Integrated BTech courses. The session 1 exam might be conducted tentatively from Apr 11 to Apr 19, 2026, and the session 2 exam from May 14 to May 17, 2026 (tentatively).
- The CMAT 2026 exam date for admission to MBA/PGDM/MMS courses is Jan 25, 2026, and the result can be expected in Feb 2026.
- TThe MAH MCA CET 2026 registration process has commenced and the last date to register is Feb 10, 2026. Further, the exam will be conducted on Mar 30, 2026 (Tentative).

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University was formerly known as Marathwada University. The University is UGC approved. It is accredited with Grade ‘A’ by theNAAC. The university has 428 affiliated colleges. All the affiliating colleges are situated in four districts of Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, and Osmanabad in the Maharashtra State. BAMU Aurangabad ranks 151 in the 'University' category in NIRF 2023 Ranking. It is ranked 48 by The Week 2023. BAMU has signed MoUs with international universities such as University of Sannio Italy and Southern Federal University Russia to strengthen its academic.
BAMU Aurangabad was established in 1958. It is a state-level public university. The University has more than 55 departments that including more than 200 courses at UG, PG, and PhD levels. All the courses are UGC-approved and are offered across four fields including Science and Technology, Commerce and Management, Humanities, and Interdisciplinary Studies.

There shall be supernumerary seats for following candidates as per the directions received from the Central government and State government and other competent authorities from time to time:

There shall be seat reservation for candidates belonging to the Home University, subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria specified by respective authorities. This reservation shall be as per the following chart:

Candidates seeking admission to the BCom programme are first required to fill out the detailed application form and pay the BAMU BCom application fees online of INR 200 for general category candidates and INR 100 for reserved category, EWS, Specially abled students and, Ex-Serviceman ward.
