There is an exclusive hostel for research scholars. All the amenities of the hostel come at a feasible price which is INR 3,000.
- Guest House: Jadavpur University has a guest house with 90 double bedrooms, 3 deluxe rooms, 2 single rooms, with all the required maintenance.
- Health Center: The University Health Centre is located on the campus. It is attended by a full-time Medical Superintendent and part-time qualified specialists in General Medicine, Eye, E.N.T., Skin, Dental and Pathology and a part-time Lady Doctor. All the specialists visit the health center for two hours three days a week and the Lady Doctor attends the center on all working days for three hours a day. Consultation and Medicines are all free of cost.
How to Reach Jadavpur University?
The main campus of Jadavpur University is located in South Kolkata. The Salt Lake campus is located in the eastern side of the city overlooking the EM Bypass. Both the campuses are quite close by and well accessible from the Kolkata airport and the two major railway stations. Buses, Tramways, Taxis, Metro provide public transportation in Kolkata and provide connectivity to both the campuses. Besides, the Main Campus is connected through city railways (Jadavpur Railway station).
