AIBE 20 Exam Dates 2025 (OUT): Check Complete AIBE (XX) Exam Schedule Here

The Bar Council of India holds All India Bar Examination (AIBE) to assess the skills of lawyers who are provisionally enrolled with their State Bar Councils. It was conducted on November 30, 2025, in pen and paper mode. The exam was held for three hours. The AIBE exam had 100 multiple-choice questions. Check important AIBE exam events below.

The BCI announced the AIBE 20 (XX) Registration Dates 2025 along with AIBE 20 Notification. The BCI released all the important dates along with the AIBE 20 Notification 2025. Candidates were able to fill the AIBE 2025 Application Form until the deadline.

Candidates must note that they can apply online only, including payment of the application fee. The AIBE XX (20) registration fee is INR 3,500 for the General/OBC category and INR 2,500 for SC/ST category. While filling out the AIBE registration and application form, candidates should keep a note of the following points:

• Candidates should meet the prescribed AIBE eligibility criteria
• All documents to be uploaded should be self-attested by candidates
• BCI will reject any document without self-attestation
• Candidates do not need to send any document by post to BCI
• It is important that candidates keep a printout of the duly-filled and submitted application form with themselves for reference
• BCI does not provide online application correction window. In case of any discrepancy in the information entered in the application form, candidates have to e-mail it to BCI to get it rectified.

• Enter your registration ID & password
• Click Submit button
• Download the admit card 

The BCI conducted the exam at the test centres across India. It was held in pen and paper mode for three hours. There were around 100 multiple choice questions in AIBE exam. Candidates looking to sit for the exam must follow the exam day instructions issued along with the AIBE admit card.

The BCI will release the AIBE 20 Answer Key 2025 PDF on official website. Initially, the provisional AIBE 20 Answer Key PDF download link will be made available on the official website. This will allow candidates to raise objections or report discrepancies for any of the questions from the exam. The AIBE 20 Final Answer Key 2025 will be released after that. It will serve as the basis for the AIBE 20 Result 2025. The council will release the AIBE 20 Result soon.

 AIBE exam monitoring committee will declare the AIBE results after verification of answer key-related claims made by candidates. The results of AIBE examination will be published on the official website only. Candidates can check their AIBE results by logging in to their registered accounts using their roll number and date of birth. All candidates belonging to General/ OBC category have to secure a minimum of 40 per cent to qualify the exam. Those belonging to SC/ ST/PWD category have to secure at least 35% to qualify the bar examination. 

Few months after the declaration of result, BCI issues the AIBE Certificate of Practice (CoP) to all the candidates who qualify the All India Bar Examination. Candidates can collect the CoPs from their respective State Bar Councils and then start practicing the legal profession.
