The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 21 exam will be conducted on June 7, 2026. Candidates who will qualify the exam will obtain the Certificate of Practice (CoP). The Bar Council of India (BCI) keeps a minimum qualifying mark to clear the AIBE Exam. The AIBE 21 Cutoff Marks 2026 for the general/OBC category will be different from the SC/ST category qualifying marks. 

AIBE 21 passing marks differ for each category of candidates. 45 marks out of 100 is the minimum score required for the General and OBC students, and 40 marks out of 100 is the minimum score for SC, ST, and PwD. What is new in AIBE 21 Cutoff 2026?

The Bar Council of India has announced that candidates who score equal to or above the AIBE cutoff 2026 will qualify. The cutoff for the general category has been revised by the council. Earlier, the required percentage was 38 per cent, but from AIBE 20 onwards, it has been increased to 45 per cent. For other categories, some relaxations were also given. The AIBE cutoff marks are the minimum percentage required for candidates in their respective categories to clear the certification exam and obtain the Certificate of Practice.

Factors affecting AIBE 2026 Cut Off

The cutoff marks for AIBE XVI after 5 questions were deleted from final result preparation, were as under:

After the removal of wrong questions the cut off marks for AIBE (14) 2019 were as under:

Therefore as per the cut-off marks, the General and OBC category candidates obtaining minimum of 36 marks and more will be considered 'PASS'. BCI will issue 'Certificate of Practice (COP)' to all AIBE 14 qualified candidates. For SC/ ST category, candidates obtaining 31 marks and more will be considered 'PASS' and eligible for COP.

Yes, candidates can raise objection on AIBE Answer Key. Based on the objections received, the AIBE Final Answer Key will be released. The AIBE Result is declared based on the final answer key.
