CLAT ST Cutoff
CLAT 2027 exam will be held on Sunday, 6 December 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Official application window is going on and last date for CLAT registration is 31 October 2026. Candidates will have to score a minimum number of marks, known as cutoff, to get admission into participating National Law Universities. CLAT NLU admission cut off varies for every category. Candidates can check expected CLAT ST Cut Off for 2027 as well as round wise previous year cut offs below.
CLAT ST cutoff is more relaxed compared to General, OBC and even SC category cutoffs, since ST candidates get benefit of reservation on seats. The CLAT ST Cut Off is based on difficulty level of paper, number of ST applicants, seat matrix, and reservation policy of each NLU.
CLAT ST cut off is released round-wise because Consortium conducts CLAT counselling across 5 allotment rounds. ST category candidates compete for seats reserved under Central and State reservation policies across 26 participating NLUs. Consortium of NLUs will conduct CLAT 2027 exam on December 6, 2026.

What is CLAT ST Cut Off?
CLAT ST cut off is minimum rank a candidate belonging to Scheduled Tribe category needs to get admission into National Law Universities. It shows rank of last ST candidate admitted to a particular NLU in a given counselling round. ST cut off is usually most relaxed among all categories. Cut off changes with NLU and with state domicile reservation as some NLUs reserve certain ST seats only for state-domicile candidates.
Knowing ST cut off round wise helps candidates track their admission chances as counselling progresses and decide whether to wait for a better NLU in a later round or confirm their current allotment.

Yes, the Consortium removed two Test Cities from the CLAT 2027. The removed test cities are Vellore and Tiruvarur. CLAT 2027 exam date is December 6.
