Q: Is 70 a good score in MHCET Law?

Getting 70 marks in MHT CET is seen as an average score. It mostly comes around 82 to 86 percentile, depending on which shift you wrote the exam in. With this score, you can still get seats in some good private or mid-level state engineering colleges, but it's tough to get into top ones like COEP or VJTI. Overview

Candidates who are looking forward to participating in the MH CET Law Counselling 2026 must check the colleges accepting the MH CET Law Score 2026. The MHCET Law 3-year LLB Result 2026 is now out. The CET Cell will publish the MH CET Counselling schedule anytime soon. The MHCET Law 5-year LLB Results are awaited.

The seats for 3-year and 5-year courses through MH CET Law Exam will be around 19, 780 and 11,480 respectively. Candidates must note that 153 colleges accept the MH CET Law 5-year LLB Score and 201 colleges accept 3-year LLB MHCET Law Score. The participating colleges of MH CET Law 2026 offer admissions based on the merit lists (category-wise) and the eligibility criteria.

MH CET Law Counselling Registrations 2026

To get into a Law college through MH CET Law 2026, you need to fill the MH CET Law counselling 2026 registration form first. The admission happens through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). For both 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses, the registration will start on the official website cetcell.mahacet.org. You must complete the form carefully to join the counselling round. The process is the same for everyone applying under MH CET Law 2026 CAP.

Yes, you can apply for the MH CET Law exam even if you don't have a CLAT score. MH CET Law is its own state-level test for getting admission into law colleges in Maharashtra for both 3-year and 5-year LLB courses. It doesn't depend on CLAT at all. You just need to pass 10+2 with 45% marks, and for SC/ST, it's 40%.

If you are not satisfied with your seat allotment through the MH CET Law Counselling, you can either participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling. You also have the option to withdraw from counselling. You will have to pay a withdrawal fee.

Normalization process is an established practice for comparing candidate scores across multiple shift papers. There are possibilities of different level of difficulties in each shift for the same exam, however to tackle this scenario, the Normalization Method will be used to calculate the MH CET Law 3-year and 5-year LLB results.

Step 1: Candidates would be distributed into four sessions randomly so that each session has approximately equal number of candidates. Suppose: Session-1: Day-1 Batch 1 (D1-B1), Session-2: Day-1 Batch-2 (D1-B2), Session-3: Day-1 Batch 3 (D1-B3).

Step-2: The examination results for each session would be prepared in the form of Raw Scores.
