The MH CET Law Counselling 2025 is ongoing through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for 3-year LLB & 5-year LLB programs. In this process, all universities accepting MH CET Law scores will provide admission to 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses through a common counselling process. As a part of MH CET Law CAP 2025, the Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has released a list for MH CET Law 2025 seat allotment for Round 1 & 2 admission for the MH CET 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses.
This article provides information about the MH CET Law seat intake 2025 for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB to candidates who are participating in CAP Round 1, CAP Round 2 and CAP Round 3 of the MH CET Law seat allotment 2025 for the 3-year LLB programme. MH CET Law Seat Allotment for 2025
Before checking the MH CET seat allotment lists 2025, candidates need to know about CAP Round 1, CAP Round 2 and CAP Round 3 which are stages in which the lists are released. Check out the different stages for MH CET Law seat allotment below:
CAP Round 1
Round 1 of CAP is the stage in which colleges accepting MH CET Law offer seats to candidates after option form filling. In this stage, candidates can select the "Freeze" option on the CAP Portal to accept the seat preferred by them, and they will have to pay INR 1000 to confirm the seat.
If a candidate does not receive his or her first preference seat, then he or she can click on the "Betterment" option and proceed with CAP Round 2.
Note: If the seat of first preference is offered to a candidate, he or she is bound to accept it. This candidate will also not be eligible for CAP Round 2 and Round 3. If he or she does not accept the seat, it will be offered to another candidate in CAP Round 2 or Round 3.
CAP Round 2
As mentioned above, CAP Round 2 will be a "Betterment" round. The same rules or terms as those of Round 1 will be applicable to Round 2. If a candidate wants to accept the seat offered to him or her by a college, he or she will have to choose the "Freeze" option in "Seat Acceptance Satuts" or else opt for "Betterment" and will be considered for further allocation in Round 3.
CAP Round 3
Round 3 of CAP will be the final round of admission to 5-year and 3-year law colleges through MH CET Law 2025. In this round, the vacant seats will be filled.
Note: If a candidate freezes a seat and does not pay the MH CET Law CAP fee of INR 1000, he or she will considered as absent for the seat allotment process.

MH CET Law 2025 Seat Allotment List
The MH CET Law 2025 seat allotment list refers to a document containing names, roll number and other details of candidates eligible for admission in different rounds of CAP. To check the seat allotment, candidates will have to login to their MAH CET Law 2025 admission portal. Candidates will have to visit llb3cap25.mahacet.org (for 3-year LLB) or llb5cap25.mahacet.org (for 5-year LLB) to check their alloted college. Candidates can check their individual allotment status, institute-wise list and vacancy reports.

No. The candidates will not be allowed to carry their mobile phone to the MH CET LAW exam centre. The authorities will not allow the candidates to bring their electronic devices inside the centres. Some of the electronic devices that are not allowed in the MHCET Law centre. If the candidates are found using any electronic device inside the centre, then they will be disqualified.
The following documents and things have to be carried to MH CET Law Exam Centre
- MHCET Law 2026 Admit Card: A clear printout of admit card is mandatory.
- Valid Photo ID (Original): An original, government-issued photo identification proof out of Aadhaar Card/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Driving License shall be carried to exam centre.
- Passport-size Photographs: Carry at least one or two recent passport-size photographs.
- Transparent Water Bottle: Students may carry their own water, but is should be transparent without any labels.
- Disability Certificate (if applicable): Candidates under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category have to carry their original disability certificate to the test centre.
A safe score for MHCET Law 2026 depends on the course and college you aim for. For top law colleges in Maharashtra, scoring around 110–120 marks in the 5-year LLB and 100–110 marks in the 3-year LLB is considered good. Cutoffs may vary each year based on difficulty and competition.

The reporting time for the MHCET Law exam will be different for both the shifts. It is not yet out, however, the candidates will be required to reach the examination hall as per the time mentioned on the admit card.
