
MHCET Law Counselling 2025 - The Maharashtra CET Cell has closed the counselling process for 5-year LLB and MH CET 3-year LLB on the MAH CET Cell official website. The last round conducted for the admission was Institute Level Round for the vacant seats. Candidates were able to access the MH Law CET Seat Allotment List through the college website and CAP portal. Thereafter, they had to report to the college for seat confirmation and document verification. The counselling process consist of Online registration followed by college preference options. Candidates who successfully clear the MHCET Law exam were able to participate in the counseling.

The registration process for the counselling started will begin online on the CET cell official website at cetcell.mahacet.org. The CAP process will be conducted for 3-year and 5-year LLB separately. How to Register for MHCET Law Counselling 2025?

Under MH CET Law CAP process, freeze option refers when candidates want to confirm their allotment and if they do not want to participate in the further counselling rounds. They will accept the allotted college and pay the admission fee. Such candidates will not be considered for further counselling rounds.
Candidates can register for the MH CET Law 2025 CAP process for 3-year LLB until July 21, 2025. However the e-scrutiny of documents will be done until July 25, 2025. For the MH CET 5-year LLB, the CAP registration was open until July 18, 2025 and the e-scrutiny of documents will be done until July 21, 2025. After the e-scrutiny is done, the MAH CET Cell will release the merit list based on the scores and preferences given by the candidates. Selected candidates will then have the option to freeze of float their candidature from a particular round.
Under MH CET Law CAP process, float option is a term through which if candidates are not satisfied with the allotted colleges, they can choose this 'Float' option. Candidates exercising this option are eligible for appearing in the subsequent counselling rounds. In case they are not offered seats, they can choose the previously allotted college.
