MH CET Law 2026: The state examination cell will release the notification, tentatively in November 2025, on cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates will be able to apply for the Law CET Maharashtra 2026 entrance exam for both MH CET LLB 3-year and 5-year LLB online. The Law MHCET 2026 entrance exam dates will also be released along with the MH Law CET notification 2026.

The Law MHCET 2026 exam will be conducted for admission to around 10,860 seats of 5-year LLB and 16,240 seats of 3-year LLB. Yes, candidates who belong to a reserved category must submit a category certificate at the time of filling out the MH CET Law application form. If they do not have this certificate, they must produce it with the help of the concerned regional authority. If reserved category candidates do not submit a category certificate while filling out an MHCET Law application form, their candidature will be considered under the general category or All India Open category. Consequently, they will not be able to leverage the benefits offered to reserved category candidates during the application process.

No, the application forms for the MH CET Law 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB do not release on the same date. The application form for the MH CET Law 5-year LLB and MH CET Law 3-year LLB is now avaiable on the official website. Thus, candidates who want to apply for a 5-year LLB or 3-year LLB through MH CET Law need to know that the application forms for the two types of LLB programmes are different, and candidates need to fill out the MH CET Law application form for their respective LLB programme. However, the application form for both programmes, 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB, will be released on the same website of Maharashtra CET Cell, cetcell.mahacet.org.
The last date for the MH CET Law 2025 registration for the 5-year LLB course and the 3-year LLB course will be different. The last date to fill out the MH CET Law 2025 registration form for 3-year LLB courses and 5-year LLB programme was March 27, 2025.
The MH CET Law 2025 registration form will be the same as the MH CET Law 2025 application form. The registration form for both 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB will have to be filled out online at the official website of the CET Cell Maharashtra, cetcell.mahacet.org.
Candidates can access their application by using the following steps if they forget it:
Step 1: Visit the MH CET website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
Step 2: Click on the portal link.
Step 3: Click on the subject link for which you filled out the MH CET application form.
Step 4: Click on the "Already Registered" option.
Step 5: Navigate to the "I can't access my account" link, which is located to the left of the screen, just below the sign in button.
Step 6: Now, click on the "I forgot my Application no." option.
Step 7: Enter your name, your father's name, your mother's name and date of birth. You will receive your application number.

The Law CET Maharashtra application form 2026 for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB will be available on the official website of MH CET Cell, cetcell.mahacet.org and portal.maharashtracet.org. The MH CET for Law 2026 registration cum application form will have to be filled out mandatorily to apply for the MH Law CET entrance exam.

- Visit the official website of CET Cell Maharashtra, cetcell.mahacet.org
- Click on the CET Exam Portal tab.
- Click on 3-yr LLB/ 5-yr LLB tab (select the tab for the course for which you want to fill out the application form).
- Now register yourself for the exam
- Fill in your personal details and permanent address details,
- Enter your email ID and mobile number for registration.
- Generate a password and complete the registration process.
- Now, sign up again by entering your application number and password.
- Fill out the form and upload your passport size picture and a scanned copy of your signature.
- Pay the application fee, save and submit the MHCET Law application.

MHCET Law Notifications
The registration process for the counselling started on June 26, 2025 however, for 3-year LLB, CAP process commenced on June 30, 2025 at cetcell.mahacet.org. Once the counselling registration is over, the exam authority releases MH CET Law 2025 merit lists. Candidates will be given option for choice filling during the CAP process.
