SLAT 2026: To participate in the SLAT 2026 counselling process, candidates must first visit the website of the respective SLS to which they are applying and complete the counselling registration.
Each SLS will release its respective SLAT merit list in multiple rounds. Candidates selected in the merit lists for a particular SLS must visit its office, verify educational certificates, ID proofs, and other required documents, and pay the application fee to confirm their admission. SLAT 2026 Counselling Steps

SLAT 2026 counselling will be conducted as follows:
- Online counselling registration and fee payment - Candidates will have to register for the counselling online from the SLAT official website. Candidates registering successfully are issued call letters to appear for PI-WAT rounds.
- Appearing for PI-WAT - Candidates have to appear for PI -WAT rounds where a panel of judges tests candidates based on general awareness, legal knowledge and other relevant topics.
- Merit list and selection rounds - On the basis of SLAT scores, PI scores and WAT scores, each institute prepares its own merit list and, the shortlisted candidates have to secure a seat by paying the admission fee and completing other formalities.

The SLAT merit list for a particular year is a list containing the name, registration number, and roll number of the candidates who achieved marks equal to or higher than the SLAT cut-off for the SLAT entrance exam conducted in the same year. The SLAT cut-off is made up of scores secured by candidates in the SLAT exam, PI and What. A merit list includes the name, roll number, registration number, collective marks secured by them in SLAT What, and PI their merit rank, and category. Based on the selection of candidates in the SLAT merit lists for a particular 5-year LL.B. Programme, seats are offered to each candidate. They need to book their respective seats by paying the admission before the due date ascertained by the SLS from whose merit list they get selected.
The SLAT counseling process 2025 has begun. SLAT Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) will be the parts of SLAT counselling. The dates for PI for SLS Pune, SLS Nagpur, SLS Noida, and SLS Hyderabad have been shared with candidates.

Candidates will have to visit the website of the respective SLS to which they want to apply to submit specific documents required for the SLAT counseling process. These documents are the photo ID proof of candidates, such as Voter ID and Aadhar Card, educational certificates, the SLAT 2025 scorecard, and the SLAT 2025 admit card.

SLAT counselling is the process of confirming candidates who will be eligible for admissions to Symbiosis Law Schools - SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Nagpur, and SLS Hyderabad with the help of a Written Ability Test and Personal Interaction and verifying documents of candidates. In the SLAT counselling process 2025, applicants will have to appear in a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI). SLAT 2026 Selection Criteria
Each participating college of SLAT conducts PI for final selection of candidates is based on the following parameters (with weightage out of 100 marks):

The candidates scoring the highest marks in each parameter are selected for final seat allotment. Each college publishes category-wise cut off marks as well as waitlist as per the seat availability.

Documents required for SLAT 2026 Counselling
The candidates participating in the counselling process should carry the following documents to the counselling venue. They should carry all the documents in original as well as copies. The documents required are,
- Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority
- Class 10th mark sheet and certificate
- Class 12th mark sheet
Candidates who are appearing or awaiting results of the class 12th or equivalent examination should submit a Bonafide certificate issued by the current school. Besides, candidates should also carry the following documents:

SLAT does not happen twice a year, but it takes place on two dates in the same session. Candidates have the option to appear in either or both. The best attempt from the two will be considered to prepare the merit list. SLAT 2026 exam will be held on:
