Yes, candidates can skip a question in the SLAT question paper if they do not know its answer. However, it is recommended that candidates answer all the questions available in the exam question paper because SLAT does not follow a negative marking scheme. In case when candidates do not answer to a particular question, they should not waste their time solving or answering it because the time limit to solve a SLAT question paper is very short, which is equal to 60 minutes (1 hour). The SLAT question paper contains 12 questions persection and each question carries one mark. Thus, the total number of questions in the SLAT question paper is 60.
The SET exam authority recommends candidates reach the SLAT exam centre at least one hour before the commencement of the exam. Thus, SLAT exam starts at 9 AM. Keeping a gap of one hour between the time of reporting to the exam centre and the start of the exam will allow candidates to comply with the exam day formalities.
