SLAT 2027 Exam Centre: Symbiosis International (Deemed) University will conduct the SLAT 2027 exam across 80 test cities nationwide. Candidates could select three test cities of their choice in order of preference while filling out the SLAT 2027 application form. The allotted test center, along with the venue address, will be mentioned on the SLAT 2027 admit card. No requests for a change of test city will be entertained once the registration for SLAT 2027 is closed. The details of the test centre will be provided on the SLAT hall ticket along with the exam day instructions.

How to Select SLAT 2027 Test Centres?

Candidates can pick their SLAT exam centres 2027 during registration. Follow these easy steps to choose your test city.  

  • Browse to the official SLAT website.
  • Find the SET Registration Portal link on the homepage and tap on it.  
  • Click Apply Now to open the SLAT 2027 registration form.  
  • Fill in your personal info and academic details carefully.  
  • In the form, there’s a part where you need to select your test city centre.  
  • From the drop-down list, choose up to three SLAT exam centres 2027 that suit you best.  
  • Pick cities close to you or easy to travel to, whatever feels more convenient.  
  • Save the details and proceed.
  • Pay the registration fee to finish your application process.

SLAT 2027 Test City Allocation Guidelines

Candidates should note the following important points regarding the SLAT 2027 test city allocation:

  • No Changes After Registration: Once you complete your SLAT 2027 registration, you cannot request a change in your test city.
  • Test City Allocation: Your test city is assigned based on the payment date. The earlier you make the payment, the higher your chances of getting your preferred test city.
  • Test City Details: The details of your assigned test city and its address will be available on your SLAT 2027 Admit Card.
  • Possible Changes: While every effort will be made to allocate your preferred test city, in some cases, a nearby city may be assigned.
  • Symbiosis Test Secretariat's Discretion: The Symbiosis Test Secretariat may assign a different test city if the chosen city is unavailable for any reason.

SLAT 2027 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates will have to follow the guidelines given below once they reach the exam centre.

  • Carry the admit card as issued by the examination cell along with a valid identity proof. These documents will allow entry to the examination hall.
  • Try to reach the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the exam commences.
  • Avoid bringing electronic devices to the exam hall.
  • After the exam begins, no one will be allowed to leave the exam hall.

Q:   When should I reach the SLAT exam centre?
A: 

The SET exam authority recommends candidates reach the SLAT exam centre at least one hour before the commencement of the exam. Thus, SLAT exam starts at 9 AM. Thus, candidates need to reach the exam centre by 8 AM on the day of the examination. Keeping a gap of one hour between the time of reporting to the exam centre and the start of the exam will allow candidates to comply with the exam day formalities. These formalities include a security check, receiving the seat number, and occupying the right seat on exam day. Moreover, candidates can also visit the location of the exam centre one day before the commencement of the exam to analyse the distance of the location from the place they stay and the time required to reach there.

 

Q:   What are the items that I can carry to the SLAT exam centre?
A: 

Candidates can carry blue and black pens, a watch (analogue), spectacles, and water in a clear, transparent bottle. Only these items are allowed to be carried to the SLAT exam centre. Smartphones, smartwatches, earphones, headphones, calculators, other electronic devices and gadgets, and food items are not permitted at the SLAT exam centre. Moreover, candidates need to know that some items need to be mandatorily carried to the SLAT exam. These items are your SALT admit card, an original copy of your voter ID proof, and 3–4 copies of your recent passport-size photo.

 

Q:   What are the documents that I need to carry to the SLAT exam centre along with the SALT 2026 admit card?
A: 

Candidates must carry one photo identity proof to the SLAT exam hall. You will not be allowed to enter without it. Also, carry a water bottle.

Is SLAT conducted online or offline?

The SLAT exam 2027 is held online in a computer-based test mode. The candidate must reach the assigned centre to appear for this computer-based exam. The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is managed by Symbiosis International University for admission into its law programs.

Each candidate gets a computer at the exam centre to answer all questions on the screen. The SLAT exam checks your reading, reasoning and also how well you think fast. It looks at how you understand things and solve problems. The test happens in an online mode, which makes everything quicker and safer for everyone. SLAT iss conducted in one slot only, from 9 AM to 10 AM. The slot timing will be found on the admit card. It will also mention the exam day guidelines.

 

Q:   How can I get information about SLAT centres?

You can get information about the SLAT centres on the website of the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), set-test.org. You can opt for any of the test cities of your choice from this list while filling out the application form.

 

Q:   Where can I get the address of my SLAT exam centre?
A: 

You can find the address of your SLAT exam centre on your SLAT admit card. The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) Authority tries to allot the test centre to a candidate according to his or her first preference for the test city. However, there is no assurance that the test authority will always provide candidates with the centre as per their preference. When there is high demand for a particular test centre, candidates will receive the test centres as per the second or third city preferred by them. All SLAT aspirants need to know that the exam authority does not change a test centre once it is allotted to a candidate. Thus, there is no need to worry about the fact that their test centre will be changed at the last moment.

 

Q:   On which paper should I print my SLAT admit card?

The candidates will have to print the SLAT admit card on the A4 size paper. The admit card will have important details such as candidate's photograph and signature along with exam centre details. Carry a valid ID proof to the exam hall for identity verification.
