Required Documents for FTII JET Application Form
Film and Television Institute of India will tentatively release FTII JET application form for 2026-27 admission cycle in June 2026. The direct link to apply for FTII JET entrance exam will be shared by the institute on its official website. The form is released in only mode only. Candidates planning to apply for the exam must keep the required documents for FTII JET 2026 ready to fill the online form.
FTII will release FTII JET exam dates and other details on its announcement page at ftii.ac.in/announcement. The tentative date for FTII JET exam is last week of July 2026. With JET scores, candidates can get admission to postgraduate and postgraduate certificate courses in Film & TV Wing at FTII. The exam is conducted in 26 cities across India.

How to Register for FTII JET 2026?
To fill FTII JET online form, candidates have to first register at official website. Check below to know steps to register for FTII JET entrance exam.
- Open FTII JET official website.
- Click on FTII JET registration 2026 link.
- Navigate 'Fresh Candidate to create Log in' on the right side of opened page.
- Register by entering basic details like name, DOB, category, PwD status and email address.
- Create login password and save to register.
- Log in using new registration ID sent on registered mobile or email and created password.
- Fill application form
- Pay application fee
- Click on submit button.

To fill the application form of the Film and Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Test (FTII JET) examination. Candidates must be minimum 21 years of age. The minimum educational qualification required for candidates to apply for the FTII JET examination is graudation in any discipline. However, for candidates who want to apply for Art Direction and Production Design course they will have to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts, Architecture, Painting, Sculpture, Interior Design or related fields in Fine Arts.
To apply for the Film and Television of Institute of India Joint Entrance Test (FTII JET) candidates had to first visit the official website of FTII or SRFTI (Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute). On the homepage of these website, they had toi click on the apply online link for the Joint Entrance Test. Students had to then register first, fill in all their details and then pay the prescribed application fee to complete the application process. While filling the application form, they had to fill all their details carefully as these details are mentioned in the admit card and any mismatch in the information can lead to debar of the aspirants.
Steps to Fill FTII JET 2026 Application Form
After registering for FTII JET entrance exam, candidates have to log in again to fill application form. Check below to know how to fill FTII JET application form 2026.
- Visit the official website of FTII JET (link to be provided by university).
- Click on FTII JET Registration 2026 tab.
- Enter FTII JET login details created.
- Add following details:
- FTII JET Centre Preference (3 centres in order of preference)
- Father's Name and Mother's Name
- ID Proof Number
- Gender
- Nationality
- Correspondence & Permanent Address
- Valid Mobile Number
- Click on Fill Qualification and Other Details and add details.
- Upload documents in prescribed size and format to avoid disqualification.
- Select course from Group A and/or B. (Maximum 2 courses)
- Check details added before submitting form.
- Pay FTII JET application fee via SBI Collect Payment portal.
- Click on submit and take a print out of online form for future reference.
Note – Film and Television Institute of India will not accept offline form. Candidates are required to fill details and upload documents in online mode only.
FTII JET Application Fee 2026
Candidates have to pay FTII JET fee based on the number of courses selected. As per official website, students are allowed to select maximum 2 courses for JET entrance exam. The fee can be paid in online mode via UPI/ debit card/ credit card only. Refer to the table below to know category-wise fees.

The Film and Television of Institute of India Joint Entrance Test (FTII JET) is conducted in offline i.e. pen and paper mode. The question and answer booklet will be distributed to the candidate at least 10 minutes before the commencement of exam. The question paper will be MCQ-based and candidates will have to mark the correct option in the answer booklet.
