Film and Television Institute of India released the FTII JET application form 2026 on March 11, 2026. Candidates can apply for the exam till April 07, 2026 (6 pm). The direct link to apply for FTII JET entrance exam has been shared by the institute on its official website. The form is released in online mode only. Candidates planning to apply for the exam must keep the required documents for FTII JET 2026 ready to fill the online form.
FTII has released FTII JET exam dates and other details on its announcement page at ftii.ac.in/announcement. The exam date for FTII JET Stage 1 exam is April 26, 2026. Stage 2 exam will be conducted tentatively in June and July 2026. With JET scores, candidates can get admission to postgraduate and postgraduate certificate courses in Film & TV Wing at FTII. FTII JET 2026 will be conducted in 26 cities across India.

FTII JET 2026: Required Documents for FTII JET Application Form 2026
Candidates who are seeking admission at FTII for offered PG & PG certificate courses must upload scanned copies for following documents in FTII JET application form.
1. Photograph
Upload a recent passport-size photograph:
- Front-facing with face, neck, and shoulders clearly visible
- White or light-coloured background
- No cap, hat, sunglasses, or tinted glasses
- Recommended size: 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm
2. Signature
- Signature on plain white paper using blue ink
- Recommended size: 3.5 cm × 1.5 cm
- Signature must be clear and readable
3. Identity / Birth Proof
Upload one valid document for identity or date of birth:
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- Voter ID
- Driving License
- Matriculation (Class 10) Certificate
4. Educational Qualification Documents
Upload the following as applicable:
- 10th (Matriculation) Certificate / Marksheet
- 12th (Intermediate / Senior Secondary) Certificate / Marksheet
- Graduation Certificate / Marksheets of all semesters
- Diploma Certificate / Marksheet (if applicable)
If candidates wish to add additional qualifications, they may do so using the “Add Qualification” option in the form.
5. Category / PwD Certificate (if applicable)
Candidates who want to claim reservation under SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ Gen-EWS/ PwD must upload revelant certificate. In case the certificate is not yet issued, applicants can upload the application acknowledgement/ receipt issued by the concerned authority, provided they upload the final certificate on the application portal by May 07, 2026.

6. Scribe (for PwD Candidates)
PwD candidates who require scribe to write their exam must arrange their own scribe at their own cost. For this, candidates must bring the self-declaration form and required documents at the Written Test centre on April 26.
Note: In case a candidate uploads incorrect or incomplete document, his/her application will be rejected during verification.

To fill the application form of the Film and Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Test (FTII JET) examination. Candidates must be minimum 21 years of age. The minimum educational qualification required for candidates to apply for the FTII JET examination is graudation in any discipline. However, for candidates who want to apply for Art Direction and Production Design course they will have to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts, Architecture, Painting, Sculpture, Interior Design or related fields in Fine Arts.

- Click on FTII JET Registration 2026 tab.
- Enter FTII JET login details created.
- Add following details:
- FTII JET Centre Preference (3 centres in order of preference)

- Correspondence & Permanent Address
- Valid Mobile Number
- Click on Fill Qualification and Other Details and add details.
- Upload documents in prescribed size and format to avoid disqualification.

- Pay FTII JET application fee via SBI Collect Payment portal.
- Click on submit and take a print out of online form for future reference.

Important Instructions While Filling FTII JET Application Form
Candidates must ensure to keep the following things in mind while filling and submitting FTII JET online form:
- Candidates must keep the required documents ready before starting registration process
- Candidates must review their application form before final submission. No changes will be allowed after submission.
- Applicants can save their progress and complete the form later by deadline.
- Make sure to upload documents in specified format and size only.
- Once paid, the application fee is non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-adjustable, etc. under any circumstances.
- After submitting online form, keep a copy or print out of the submitted application form.

No. Candidates need to carry a hard copy of admit card along with government ID proof. The use of phones will also be banned during the examination. Candidates will have to deposit their luggage at the counter made in the examination centre.
The Part B of FTII JET question paper has descriptive questions. In this part, candidates have to write answers related to the question of the course they have applied for during FTII JET application.
Upon downloading the FTII JET admit card, candidate must go through the all the details mentioned carefully. If they find any errors in their admit card, they are advised to write a mail to the JET officials and upload the image of the admit card to show where the error is. Candidates are advised to report the matter immediately.
FTII JET Application Fee 2026
Candidates have to pay FTII JET fee based on the number of courses selected. As per official website, students are allowed to select maximum 2 courses for JET entrance exam. No, a candidate cannot fill FTII JET application form offline. The Film and Television Institute of India releases JET registration form in online mode and candidates have to fill and submit the same in online form only. No offline application form will be accepted by FTII for entrance exam.
