Commonly asked questions
No, the ATMA exam is usually conducted in a single shift. However, in 2020, the ATMA exam was conducted in the remote-proctored mode in order to follow the social distancing guidelines for COVID-19, but the exam was still conducted in a single shift. ATMA exam pattern has not changed much over the years. ATMA 2025 exam will also be conducted in single shift for three hours, I. e. from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The shift timings for both the courses, MBA and MCA will be the same.
ATMA 2026 Exam Day Checklist: Things to Avoid on Exam Day
Check here the list of things to avoid on the ATMA exam day:
- ATMA 2026 will be held in centre-based test (CBT) mode, hence, candidates should not carry stationery such as pencils, erasers, pencil pouches, etc. They can only carry a ballpoint pen.
- Do not reach late to the ATMA exam centre. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.
- Candidates can not use any electronic gadget. They are required to show the risk status on the Arogya Setu app and switch off their phones and submit at the designated place.
- The ATMA 2026 exam will be held in the afternoon between 9:00 PM to 12:00 PM. Hence, candidates are advised that they must not start any new topic in the morning on exam day. This will only shift their focus from the topics that they would have already covered during their preparations.
- ATMA exam has sectional timings and negative markings. So, candidates will get only 30 minutes to solve one section. So, candidates must not spend extra time on one question, if they are doubtful they must move on to the next question. Time management is the key to the ATMA exam.
- Do not share your personal belongings with anyone. If a candidate is opting for a scribe, then the scribe also should bring their own Gloves, N95 mask, sanitiser (50ml) and transparent water bottle.
- Always be calm and focused. If you panic in the exam, then the possibility of choosing the incorrect answer is high. Carefully read the question before attempting the question and then calmly answer it.
