IRMASAT Cut off 2023: Check Category wise Cut off Marks

Institute of Rural Management (IRMA) has announced the qualifying cut off marks for admissions 2022. The cut off for IRMASAT 2022 is as under - 

  • Candidates who score 80 percentile or above in CAT 2022/XAT 2022 and fall in the Profile based call criteria are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GD/PI process
  • Candidates who score 85 percentile or above in CAT 2022/XAT 2022 and fall in the merit-based call criteria are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GD/PI process

IRMA will be giving two types of calls to the prospective candidates:

1. Profile-Based Calls

2. Merit-Based Calls

Candidates who fulfill the following criteria can be shortlisted for profile-based calls:

1. Graduation in Development, Agriculture, Dairy, Public policy, Sustainability, Veterinary Sciences, Food Technology

2. Work experience in Development Sector, Dairy, Public Policy

3. Excellence: Graduation from top universities and colleges

The actual cut off marks for admission to 2022-23 batch will be announced after the declaration of the IRMASAT 2022 result. The cut-off marks will be announced on the IRMA website. These cut off marks will be used in selecting candidates for the next round of the admission process. The minimum cut-off for these exams is set by the exam authorities; which is used at the time of analyzing the candidate’s overall performance.

IRMASAT cut-offs are announced on the basis of the overall performance of the students in the entrance exams that year. Below are the category-wise minimum cut-off marks for 2022 admissions. The below table will give the candidates an idea of cut off marks in 2022.

Q. Will there be a separate cutoff list for each round?

A: Yes, the IRMA releases a separate cutoff list for each round.

Q. What IRMASAT score is considered good?

A: The standard IRMASAT cut off is generally above 80 for profile-based calls and above 85 for merit-based calls.

Q. Do IIMs accept IRMASAT score?

A. No, IRMASAT scores are only accepted for by IRMA and IIMs accept only the CAT score.
