CMAT 2024 admit card will be released at NTA-CMAT website a week before the exam (May 2024). NTA is yet to announce the CMAT admit card download date 2024.  

The CMAT admit card 2024 will contain the details of the candidates such as name, application number, photo, signature, gender, address, age and other key information for identification.Along with the candidate's information, the CMAT admit card 2024 will have the details related to exam centre, exam timings, reporting time, entry guidelines, exam guidelines, etc. to be followed by candidates on the CMAT exam day.

CMAT admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the CMAT 2024 exam venue if they don't show their admit cards during the identification process. Candidates will have to download their CMAT 2024 admit cards by using their login ID and password.

Q:   Where can I download CMAT admit card from?

A:
Candidates who shall have registered successfully for the CMAT exam will be issued an admit card which the main document of identification for appearing in the test. The CMAT admit card is released in online mode at the NTA-CMAT website. Candidates are required to download their respective admit card from the NTA-CMAT website only. The hardcopy of CMAT admit card will not be issued to any candidate. Every candidate is supposed to download the soft copy of their CMAT admit card from the NTA website. To download the admit card, candidates will have to log on to the NTA-CMAT website, click on the admit card and enter login credentials. The CMAT admit card download link will be shared by Shiksha. Com too.
 

Q:   Can I change my exam centre after the CMAT admit card has been issued?

A:
No. You cannot change the exam centre after the CMAT admit card has been issued. You cannot take the exam at any other centre other than the one mentioned in your admit card, either. So make an informed decision at time of selecting your test city in the CMAT application form. Select only those cities where you can make arrangement of stay on the CMAT exam day. Choose your home city or city of current residence as the first test city. The examination authorities try to allot the test centre to a candidate as per their first preference. However, sometimes if there are not enough number of applicants for a city, the centre may be cancelled there and candidates are allotted a test centre in the next city of preference. If at a particular exam centre in a city has already been filled with candidates, then the remaining students are allotted a test city in the next city of preference.

Q:   Can I appear for CMAT at any test centre?

A:

No, you cannot appear for the CMAT exam at any test centre. You can appear for the test at the centre mentioned in your CMAT admit card. Entry at every CMAT test centre is given to candidates only after thorough scrutiny of the hall ticket and ID proof. If you attempt to gain entry in any other test centre, you will be disqualified. Thus, candidates must make sure that they check the location of their allotted test centre beforehand and reach there on exam day on time.  If they reach the test centre after the gates have been closed they will not be allowed entry under any circumstances. CMAT test centre gates close 15 minutes before the commencement of exam.

 

How To Download CMAT Admit Card 2024?

CMAT admit card can be downloaded from the official website until the exam day. To download the CMAT 2024 admit card, follow the below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the official website of NTA-CMAT: https://cmat.nta.nic.in/

  • Click on 'CMAT 2024 Admit Card' tab 

  • Enter  the CMAT 2024 registration ID and password

  • Download the admit card and take a printout

Q:   What is the CMAT exam duration? Can I change my exam slot?

A:
The CMAT exam is held for three hours. The exam is sometimes held in a single slot and sometimes in double slot. CMAT 2023 was conducted in two shifts. The first shift was held from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift was held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. There is no sectional time limit in CMAT. Candidates have to decide on their own how much time they want to spend on a particular section of the exam. PWD candidates get 20 minutes extra in CMAT. The exam slot allotted to candidates by the exam authorities cannot be changed. Candidates cannot request for change of exam slot or centre. They have to take the exam as per the slot and timings mentioned in their admit card. Thus to avoid getting late for the exam, candidates must reach the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned in the CMAT admit card.

They will have to take the test at the allotted CMAT exam centre only which is why, it is important to download the CMAT admit card as soon as it releases. Candidates get ample time to make arrangements for the exam day, if their test centre is far off. CMAT 2023 exam was conducted in two slots - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. After downloading the CMAT admit card 2024, check it thoroughly for factual or spelling error/s as even a slight misprint can deem it invalid prohibiting the candidate from entering the exam hall. Check for following errors on the CMAT 2024 admit card:

Q:   How long will the CMAT admit card 2024 be available for download?

The CMAT admit card 2024 will be available for download until the exam day. They link for downloading it will be removed after the exam is over. It is advised that candidates download their CMAT 2024 admit cards as soon as it is released so that they have ample time to check their test centre location. There are some key dos and don'ts that candidates should follow on the CMAT exam day, which have been listed below: CMAT exam day dos: 1. Reach the examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on your CMAT admit card. 2. Carry two copies of the CMAT admit card, one photo ID card and passport size photos 3. PwD candidates should carry the relevant certificates and documents as prescribed by the examination authorities. 4. Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing the attendance sheet 5. Carry personal drinking water, hand sanitizer, face masks and gloves 6. Cooperate with the test centre staff and follow instructions during entry 7. Use only the computer mouse to lock your answers. A:
All the key information and instructions mentioned in the CMAT admit card is to be followed by each candidate. To avoid any hassle at the exam centre, candidates must note the following: 1. Do not carry prohibited items such as bags, purses, pencil box, beepers, wrist watch, calculators, mobile phones, electronic devices, scanners, cameras, wireless/Bluetooth transmission or any such communication devices. 2. Don't wear jewellery made of metal, jackets, clothes with pockets, mehendi on palms and closed shoes. Socks are allowed inside it. 3. Don't wear goggles, caps & head gears, hoodies or jackets/shirts with pockets 4. Don't be late for the exam. The entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the commencement of exam. So, reach the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the CMAT admit card. 5. Don't cheat or indulge in mal practices. You will be disqualified if caught indulging in any such ACT. 6. Don't create a ruckus inside the test lab or disturb other candidates 7. Don't leave your seat until the exam duration gets over and the invigilator announces exit.
 

Q:   What are the items prohibited at the CMAT exam centre?

A:
No, any electronic item including the watch, mobile phone, ipad, calculator, watch, smartwatch, etc. Is not allowed inside the CMAT examination centre. Any candidate found carrying such an item inside the exam hall will be disqualified. Candidates can check time on the onscreen timer on their computer systems during the CMAT exam. Apart from electronic items, stationary other than a blue/black ball point pen, metal accessories or metal jewellery and eatables are not allowed. Caps & headgear, goggles, hoodies, shirt with pockets, pants with pockets and closed shoes are also not allowed inside the test centre. Any candidate found carrying any such item or pieces of paper will be disqualified from the exam. Candidates must not carry bags and other valuables, as CMAT exam centres do not have any provision of bag deposit.

  • Mobile phone, wrist watch, pager, smartwatch, ipad, calculator or any electronic item
