CMAT registration 2027 will start anytime soon. The National Testing Agency will announce CMAT registration dates 2027 and process via an online circular. Interested candidates willl have to register for the exam and pay the fee before a deadline fixed by the examination body. The CMAT 2027 exam will be conducted on February 7, 2027 as announced by the NTA on September 16, 2026. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for CMAT is graduation. CMAT Registration 2027: Step-by-Step Process

CMAT 2027 application form submission process will have three main parts. Candidates will have to complete all the three parts before the CMAT application last date 2026. 

Part 1: Online Registration for CMAT 2027

• Open the CMAT-NTA website: cmat.nta.nic.in
• Click on ‘click here to login/register’ 
• The CMAT 2027 registration page will open
• Enter details like name, date of birth, city, email ID, password and mobile phone number
• Enter OTP received on mobile number and click on 'submit'
• A 12-digit application number will be displayed

Part 2: CMAT Application Form 2027 Submission

• Enter CMAT application number and password to log in again 
• Enter academic details in the CMAT application form
• Enter other personal details and select test cities
• Upload a passport size photo, signature and valid ID
• Check the information filled in the form and edit the fields if required
• Now submit the CMAT 2027 application form
• Fee payment window will open. Pay the fee and download the acknowledgement slip

Part 3: Test City Selection for CMAT 2027

• While registering for the CMAT 2027, candidates will have to select test cities for allotment of exam centre.
• Candidates can choose up to four cities from the list of 124 where they want a CMAT test centre to be allotted
• Once submitted, the test city option will not be changed in the application form so they must make the selection carefully

CMAT Form Fee 2027

The CMAT registration fees is different for different category students.The fee amount is to be paid at the time of application form submission. Given below is the table indicating category-wise CMAT form cost:

CMAT Form Fee Payment Mode

CMAT registration fee amount is to be paid in online mode only. Candidates can pay the fee in following mode:

• Debit/credit card
• Net banking
• UPI payments

Candidates must check the acknowledgement slip for CMAT exam fees 2027 once the fee is paid. If the acknowledgement slip is not generated and the transaction is not successful, candidates must raise the issue with the bank. 

Documents Required for CMAT 2027 Registration

To be able to fill the CMAT 2027 registration cum application form correctly, candidates will require the following documents by their side at the time of form filling.

• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• Graduation marksheet
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• PWD/DA certificate (if applicable)
• Signature of the candidate on a white paper
• Recent passport size photo preferable against white background
• Debit/credit card or net banking payment details

CMAT Photo and Signature Specification

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2027

• Any candidate who has a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree from a recognised university can apply for CMAT 2027.
• Final year bachelor’s degree students are also eligible to apply for CMAT exam.
• There is no criteria of minimum score in graduation for CMAT, however score accepting colleges have a minimum score requirement of 50 per cent (45 per cent for Reserved category candidates)

CMAT Application Process 2027: Key Points to Remember

Here are a few things to keep in mind while filling up the CMAT form 2027.

• Enter personal and academic details as per the education certificates, in the CMAT exam form.
• Select city options for CMAT test centre allotment keeping in mind your convenience. Select your home city as first preference.
• Check all the information entered before submitting. Only a few fields will be open for editing during form correction.
• CMAT registration will remain incomplete until fee payment. So, make sure transaction has been completed before you close the payment window.
• Once fee payment is done, confirmation E-mail and an SMS will be sent to the candidate.
• If you don’t receive confirmation, contact the examination office immediately.
• If you make errors in the form, you will have to fill a fresh form by creating a new ID with a new phone number and paying the fee again.
• Use Internet Explorer (version 11 and above) or Mozilla Firefox (version 50 to 61) or Google Chrome (version 50 to 69) for filling up the form
• Use a laptop or desktop for filling CMAT 2027 registration form. Don't use a smart phone. 
• Fill the form and pay the fee before the CMAT registration last date 2027. The NTA may not extend the deadline.

CMAT Form Correction 2027

CMAT form correction window 2027 will be opened for 2-3 days after the last date of registration for CMAT 2027. This provision is to allow candidates to change their test city option and upload a better quality photo/signature, if required. It will be a one time activity and no changes will be allowed after the form correction window closes:

• Open CMAT-NTA website
• Click on Form Correction for CMAT 2027 tab
• Enter application number, password and security pin
• Click on 'edit application form'
• Upload new documents or make changes as required
• Click on 'submit' to complete the process

Candidates must note that this process is a one time activity and once the form has been edited it will be locked for further changes.

FAQs on CMAT Registration

Question: Will the CMAT registration fees be refunded if I do not appear for the exam?
Answer: No, the CMAT registration fees is non-refundable. If they do not appear for the exam they cannot claim refund for the application form. Since, it is mentioned in the exam information brochure that the fee is non-refundable, no requests for refund are entertained by the NTA. 

Question: I belong to SC category. Is there any marks relaxation in CMAT for SC students?
Answer: There is no minimum marks criterion for appearing in CMAT exam. Any candidate who has passed a Bachelor's degree programme from a recognised university can apply. However, there is a minimum score requirement at CMAT accepting colleges for admission. All the UGC and AICTE approved institutions have the minimum score requirement of 45 per cent in aggregate in graduation for candidates for SC/ST candidates.

Question: How many cities can I choose for allotment of CMAT exam centre?
Answer: Candidates can choose up to four cities for allotment of CMAT exam centre in the application form. Candidates must take utmost care in selecting the cities as once the form is submitted, they can't change city preference.

Question: Is Aadhaar mandatory for CMAT registration?
Answer: Yes, candidates will need to have a valid Aadhaar number to register for CMAT exam. Until last year, candidates could use other photo IDs too to register for the exam.
