TG ICET Books 2026: Check best books for exam preparation

The Communication Ability section of the TSICET exam is considered the easiest section among all the sections. Telangana ICET has questions from three sections, namely Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability. Besides the difficulty standards, TSICET exam's Communication Ability section has the least questions, that is 50 questions. The Communication Ability section is further divided into four sub-sections, which include 1) Vocabulary 2) Business and Computer Terminology 3) Functional Grammar 4) Reading Comprehension.

In the TG ICET pattern, Analytical Ability and Mathematical Ability carry a maximum weightage of 75 marks each. The Communication Ability section holds a slightly lower weightage, contributing exactly 50 marks to the total score.

There is no sectional time limit enforced in the TG ICET exam. Candidates are provided a composite duration of 150 minutes to navigate freely across all 200 questions and manage their time independently.

What level of maths is there in TG ICET exam? Yes, you can crack the exam. The TG ICET tests fundamental mathematical concepts primarily based on the 10th and 12th-grade levels. Consistent practice of arithmetic, basic algebra, and statistics will help you secure a good score.

TSICET exam and CAT exam are conducted for MBA Admission. While TSICET exam is conducted for admission to colleges in Telangana, CAT is conducted for national level admission. TSICET syllabus is similar to CAT syllabus. All three sections included in the TSICET exam have a place in the CAT syllabus. The TG ICET exam consists entirely of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Every single question presents candidates with four alternative options, from which they must accurately choose the best correct answer.

Under the TG ICET marking scheme, candidates are awarded one mark for every precisely correct answer they select. Importantly, there is absolutely no negative marking for incorrect responses or questions left completely unattempted.
