Month 1: Preparation for TG ICET 2026

In the first month get hold of TS ICET books for preparation and buy sample TS ICET question papers.

Carefully review the test paper to map out the TSICET question pattern and the length of the test. Figure out some smart testing strategies you can implement to finish the test timely. Also, chalk out a timetable to fit in your TS ICET exam preparation plans. Look out for exam preparation help available online if you think studying on your own will not be an ideal option.

The logical step is, to begin with, the portion that you dislike the most. It could be either analytical ability or mathematical ability or communication ability. As you finish completing, a section you are weak, much of the pressure of exam preparation lessons. Follow TS ICET syllabus and marking scheme to understand which portion you need to begin your preparation.

Understand the components of the subject fully: The components include- types of questions asked, the time required to prepare, skills required, and the method to solve those questions and the kind of knowledge tested in this area. Refer to textbooks and reading materials. Simultaneously, answer practice questions, review answers and point out your own mistakes.

Month 2: Preparation for TGICET 2026

Devote this month on the second weakest subject, again either analytical ability or mathematical ability or communication ability. Understand the type of questions appearing in this section, total time you need to solve questions in this section and what kind of method you need to apply in order to solve the different types of questions.

Here as well, your strategy should be to go through the topics in detail. Practising side by side the questions and determining where the occurrence of mistakes are more. This detailed approach helps in improvement from scratch.

Month 3: Preparation for TGICET 2026

In the third month, you can finally move on to the strongest subject. Applying the same technique, identify the pattern of questions and the amount of time you need to solve those questions. Learn, write and practice sample question papers. You will need less time to prepare this section of TSICET syllabus, as you are already strong in this area.

Do not let the saved time go to waste. Devote it on full-length practice test and self-grade your performance. Keep a check on the time. Evaluate how much time you are consuming to solve the entire test papers.

General Preparation Tips for TG ICET 2026

  1. Avoid studying more than 2 hours at a stretch for TSICET 2026 exam. If you are comfortable studying for long hours, take longer breaks of not less than 20 minutes. In the break time, keep yourself stress-free and away from syllabus completion thoughts. This is mainly because, if you continue with such thoughts, this will not relax your mind.
  2. Apply note taking strategies mentioned below-
  • Skim through the textbook, list down the questions, read, write and review it.
  • Check through the text you have written in the notebook. Put them in bullets, as it is easy to identify them.
  • Review and frame questions on the jotted points. This is a useful strategy to recall the points by you.
  • Reflect on the points and keep repeating them until you feel confident enough on any topic.
  1. Wherever possible try to use visual cues, as this is helpful in memorization of topics included in the TSICET 2026 exam or for formulas memorization. This will also help in the memorization of things. You can also make use of flashcards, as they are appealing in nature.
  2. Make sure to revise the topics within 24 hours. If you are touching upon the chapters that you have not studied for a long time or on the uncovered syllabus in the last few days, Recap, Review and Reinforce (3 R’s) is the best way you can adopt to prepare well in this section.
  3. Last but not of least importance is sleep well as it helps one to boost their memory. Your body needs at least 7-8 hours of sleep to remember all that you have studied.
