National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination for MDS admissions 2025 ( NEET MDS )
The NEET MDS 2025 cutoff was revised by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The qualifying percentile has been reduced by 19.863 percentile for each category. The General category cutoff percentile has been reduced from 50 to 30.137 percentile, reserved category cutoff is reduced from 40 to 20.137 percentile. On the other hand, the General-PWBD cutoff percentile has been revised to 25.137 percentile from 45 percentile.

The NEET MDS 2025 exam was conducted on April 19, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM. The NEET MDS 2025 result was scheduled to be declared by May 19, 2025, but it was released four days before the expected date.
While the NEET MDS 2025 Cutoff percentiles have been announced by NBEMS, the cutoff scores will be released along with the results or the scorecards. Only those candidates who qualified for the NEET MDS 2025 exam by securing the pass marks or the cutoff marks were eligible to participate in the NEET MDS counselling process, which is being conducted from June 24, 2025, to September 8, 2025. Counselling for the MDS courses is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) based on the merit list.
Based on past years' trends, there is a possibility of the NEET MDS 2025 cutoff getting reduced. Last year, the NEET MDS cutoff was reduced by the Ministry of Health to fill the vacant seats.

The NEET MDS 2025 cutoff percentile is pre-defined and remains constant. NBE can lower the cutoff percentile of NEET MDS, with the consent of DCI, if the number of candidates participating in the counselling process is insufficient.
